Watched two David Fincher movies back to back, Zodiac and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, both are a 7/10.

The intro to TGWTDT is strangely addicting, I've watched it 3 times already.

the raid.
10/10 for action. crisp. violent. you see every blow, every strike, and it feels violent.
7/10 for camera work. it goes from awesome to super shaky. some very creative shots i havent seen anywhere.
story 6/10 lol

everyone should see this at least once. the action is almost as good and visual as danny the dog.

overall 8/10

@KillerCrocker - are you remotely mental? Promethesh*t was an abortion of scriptwriting and basic logic discussed to the tits on IMDB and other places. Absolutely stupid throughout once you re-watch it. Adding extra 20-30mins may round it out a tad but the whole thing is just.. GAHHH!

well i think it had a low score becouse Prometheus was a Alien Prequel and maybe everyone associated that with another move with aliens kicking the crap out of humans , but what we had was Creationism theory movie with almost no alien rumble ,
althought its a good movie giving it a 7 its acceptable but a 10 serious ? Thats reserved for a perfect movie or at least a movie u can watch once every year and still say " Damm this is a great movie " . Maybe the sequel of Prometheus will fill the gaps on the movie who knows....

10 for a perfect movie? I don't use scores like that. Movie that was enjoyable for me and I want to rewatch it deserves a high score for me. Prometheus is easily a 9/10 for me. Not sure how it will be second time through but as for now I loved what Ive seen yesterday. Everything makes sense plotwise and effects were perfect.

Its not like high scores are only reserved for godfather, thing, shawshank, shining etc.

Scoring system is stupid. 10 is a perfect movie... Pfff... Nothing is perfect... Well maybe Pitch Black Very Happy

Surely 10 would mean there is nothing wrong with it? Why would you give something full marks if it is flawed? That's what the numbers 0-9 are for.

10 to me means there is not a single thing I would change about the film, which is rare.

if yo daddy is a big alien fan... he would've been disappointed. Every die-cast-hardcore-super-elite-alien-fan was all sci-fi is amazing and epic and this movie was good sci-fi but it should never be part of the alien franchise.

So, as a weyland movie it's \o/ as an alien movie... it's /o\

It's still a good sci-fi movie. the added 20-30 minutes may add bits and pieces to flesh out the basic story line, and make it more sci-fi which is good. If they somehow recut it so it doesn't belong to the alien franchise... then \o/ and it's really easy.

I've never rated anything a 10.
Very few movies and games reached a 9.5 or even 9.6 that was the highest rating I ever pulled for any kind of entertainment. (LOTR)

I'm so out of movies to watch and I have no idea if there really is nothing interesting out there or if I've overseen something.
There is so much crap coming out and so few interesting movies its really sad.
5 years ago I couldnt get my mind sorted about which movie I'm going to watch next, now there are a max of 2 or 3 movies a MONTH that interest me.
And all the movies that interest me NOW, are still in cinema and have no rls.
I've got to have missed something, especially with movies that came out recently (2010-2012) I still have some gaps.
The last 4 I watched were Tinker, Tailor (7.6), American Pie (7.2), John Carter (6.7) and Contraband (6.9).
Those didnt even brush an 8.
Where the fuck are the good movies??!

I often hear about a movie - oh this sounds nice - then I check imdb - oh shit its only just started in cinema/didnt even come out yet - then 6-10 months later when the x264 is finally out I've forgotten it already.

Think I'm gonna check out that Lorax thingy next.
I prefer it when animation movies are not about stupid humans and their relationships but its Dr. Seuss so it cant be that bad.

I've almost finished watching the highly acclaimed Asterix at the Olympic Games movie, so I'll be hardened. Meanwhile it downloads and then I'm gonna TRY THAT LORAX THING.

I blame the damm trailers each time we watch one from a movie we get all the best scenes (sometimes the only ones) in those 3m and thats it , the rest in between is mostly junk. I hope they start making bad trailer and good movies that would be nice for a change.
