I'm not sure what to feel about that. Unboxing definitely felt like a proper C64-unboxing.. And it looks like a proper C64. But it's running Linux (comes with Ubuntu 11.2).

Oh man... that is delicious! I'm surprised it's using Ubuntu and not something that would be pushing Commodore's newest OS, but still... delicious indeed Very Happy

~edit~

SWEET FUCKING JESUS! The C64x is $1295! I'm all for nostalgia and geekhood, but this is just unreasonable. The specs on the Supreme are insultingly low for such an insane price;

Intel Atom D2700 Dual-Core 2.13Ghz
nVidia GT520-512MB
4GB DDR3
BluRay Drive
1TB SATA (3TB is another $300 and don't even consider SSD as those start from $500+ for the 300GB)

Honestly, I love what they're doing, I really do... but thirteen hundred dollars for a curio item is just... Even the Barebones version is $400 -- and that doesn't come with ANY innards! It's just the friggin' shell that you have to add your own mobo/CPU/etc to.
