i needed a new mouse years back and bought one at random and by fate it was mx518 Very Happy. Still working perfectly. Thing is thou that I dont use dpi settings and have them disabled and with some older software it had weird sensitivity problems when rebooting the pc. Size and shape are perfect.

In case you missed it (from Logitech's help): Wink

I personally use on-board profiles for my G300, so I didn't even bother with those, but that Acceleration setting sounds like it should be disabled right away.

As for report rate, I keep it at 500 Hz and everything feels perfectly smooth, but if you're a hardcore FPS gamer, you may want to consider setting it to 1000 Hz. I doubt, however it will make much of a difference. Scratch Head

My 6 months old G9X is starting to die (connect-disconnct which i know is the beginning of the end).. Once again thanks to logitech shit cabling and filmsy soldering. Ive owned many logitech mouses throughout the years and most of them died the same way. That means the cable is starting to get loose at the point where it meets the mouse which cause connect-disconnect issues which in turn means its on borrowed time. Some of them lasted me from anywhere from 3 months to 2 years before eventually dying in the same manner. Only my G7 fate was different but then again it still suffered the double click issue which is known with that model and again due to shit soldering. (well call it what you want). And no im not hard at all on my mouses. May be my luck but a small search show im not the only one who had that type of issues with logitech mouses.

Now thats a shame because i love Logitech mouses , especialli the G9X , which was perfect for a claw grip like me. Now its still under warranty and will ask for a replacement but for the first time in my life im thinking about alternatives , as in getting another primary mouse from another brand just in case my new G9X fail again (and im sure it will).

Looking mostly at Razer. Which model is supposed to be claw grip oriented ?

Grabbed a G400 myself yesterday since the mouse from the Logitech Wave combo had been acting up. So far it's been brilliant!
