Trademarking and such for future content, many people expected Summerset Isle to be the setting for this game since Bethesda trademarked it a long time ago though they have also trademarked Skyrim but I don't remember exactly when that was.
This here is likely a DLC though, but that's just a guess of mine.

Actually the plans are for a hell of a lot more DLC than 2. The rest it's Pete Hines not knowing what he says (remember they didn't announced Dawnguard on PC, and two days later they've launched it at QuakeCon-way to market the product Petey).

Pretty happy about that. And yea, Dawnguad was marketed VERY poorly on PC. I didn't even know it was released until the next day, because another site posted a "Dawnguard is out!" article. Little tiny writing in the bottom of the quakecon banner on steam...

Maybe because Dawnguard isn't exactly what they've said once. Weren't they saying that the addon stuff will be more like the Oblivion expansions? Really big?
Dawnguard is more like the F3/NV stuff.

Yeah, Beth said "fewer, but larger, expansions" - just like FO3/NV.

But wasn't Shivering Islands way bigger than any of those FO3/NV DLCs? I really hoped for some real expansions for Skyrim.

Guys, is it possible to install Dawnguard on legit Skyrim? I don't want to pay for a half assed DLC 20 bucks.

It's just a mod as usual so just put Dawnguard.ESM and Dawnguard.BSA in the game folder, make sure load order is correct and then just play the game as normal.

Well, like i said I'll be getting the DLC during the next steam sale. It's not like I would have the time to play it till then anyway.

Dawnguard introduces two new hair styles but they're nothing the player can use so it works just fine without messing up, of course if you have several hair mods installed the game engine can get a bit weird.
(Showing no hair styles or crashing during chargen.)
EDIT:Seems they solved that cape limitation via SKSE, nice.

So i want to play this finally through, was in army at the time when it got released, so didnt have much time back then. Dont want to play vanilla tho, since it looks and plays like shit. Any recommendations for mods? I want maximum eye candy and some fancy Ui.
