So, after reinstalling Windows I got two problems, hope you guys gonne be some help Smile

1.After duplicating my desktop on my HDTV there is this fucking border on the screen on the TV. It basically looks like this:

Any idea what the fuck is wrong? I tried setting my TV as the only display, setting the resolution to maximum but it still doesn't cover the whole screen, like it should, it's still with this huge black border. Sitting on 12.6 Cata and 48901GB.

2. Second problem: how the fuck turn off this whole Aero style shit of W7? My previous install looked like this and was more like classical XP layout:

As you can see I got normal icons on my desktop area, my quick bar is enabled, icons look normal. I know I did this somehow easly on my last install but just can't recall what I did, LOL. Any ideas? In compariosn, my desktop looks like this now *sigh*

Big ass icons, no quick bar, all this typical Windows 7 crap.

HELP! Very Happy

Turn off grouping, turn on labels.

As for your HDTV thing: scaling options in CCC. Underscan/overscan is what you're looking for.

and to get quicklaunch back (I hate the 'pin to taskbar' thing..I only want actual TASKS in my taskbar if its not open I don't want it there)

right click start bar 'add toolbar' and browse to '%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch'

so you can have it back like this:

Rocketdock drives me crazy. cant put it at the bottom as it pops over everything, and at the top I keep forgetting its there from years of being use to, and muscle memory of going to 'bottom left' to launch things.
