Anyone used these recently? My gf bought me a 20 pack from Walmart and yesterday I found out that some of the burned discs are unreadable. Just burned another dvd and some files are corupt. Never had any problem like this, CD or DVD. I'm really pissed because I lost bunch of stuff that I can't just download again.

btw. It's the media for sure, as I have tried a different brand and it's all ok.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem.

Sometimes you'll get a bad bunch. Take them and the written disks back. Although it could be your writer.

you can look for a new firmware for your dvd writer. Sometimes they upgrade the firmware to support more new media.

try looking for it Smile

take them back, keep the one(s) you put personal data on. A few [faulty] disks less should not hold them back form refunding you.

Also, stop buying from Walmart. Closing shops when an union is forming? Boycott for me.
