Itt's an epic rarity! Where will you get it cheaper than $40? A flea-market. Somewhere some old lady is cleaning out her moved-out-son's room and doesn't realise the value of the game Very Happy Failing that, you can probably find the jewel-case version on Fleabay for around £25/$35

So not this month Razz

So another trade - I am willing to trade 3$ for Bioshock on steam Cool Face , since all that ss2 talk made me into this type of game mood

Okay, here's an outlandish suggestion... something so wild and crazy that it makes my gums itch just to THINK of it!!! But..... why not... well.... DOWNLOAD the game? Looking Glass Studios doesn't exist any longer, so if you bought the game the only people who would profit would be the $40+ charging motherfuckers grinhurt Or if you bought it brand new for $100+ then EA would get the money.

Do you want to fund EA or do you want to play a game? Very Happy

Just download it! ^_^

ok then. I've only found "System.Shock.2.PC.Game.[FROSTY].iso"

What do I need to play it on win7 then and to be up to date? (I am so going to fail playing this)

This is actually the quickest, most succinct way of setting up and you'll have everything you need;

Though I strongly recommend installing Rebirth and the unofficial "second patch" Straylight too. Follow up with Vurt's Mods to finish it all off.

Bioshock was billed as the spiritual successor to SS2 and while it does share a great deal of similarities and features, the game itself isn't even remotely as good. You should definitely still play it though!!! Great game.

I tried that, but I can't play it. When saving sometimes the game crash. And the same when loading. Sad
It's a pity because I've never played SS2, in spite of having loved to play the original SS.

iirc you have to manually create the SAVE folder. Create a folder inside your SSHOCK2 one called "current" -- it should work okay then.

Aw. I'm really not sure then.. all I can suggest is;

http://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=106.0

and the statement that the game is old and even when it was new it was far from bug-free. I had a couple of crash issues during my most recent play a few months back, but nothing super invasive or frequent.

After seeing your Gothic II Graphics Overhaul (people, it's fantastic) I'm really anxious to see what you cooked up for SS2.

Have a look yourselves
