havent played this game so much the last couple of weeks. Proper zombie run, zero artifacts. and during the +2 hours of gameplay i had on a regular server, 0 hack attacks was a joyful time

you have always been able to run away from zombies. run through big trees, or houses. crouch the game is really great atm.
The mod really need some sort of random "server event". Maybe some attack squad, marked with a flying chopper, or a signal on the radio with the whereabouts. has AwEsome loot. but requires some coordinated team, atleast from 5 guys! this would help people interact in a better way.
so as far as i understand there are helicopter crash sites which are purely for the best loot ingame, and helicopters that can be repaired without loot. Anyone got some reliable maps for both of them? google came up with a few different maps but i dont know which ones are up to date or accurate.
Watched some streams last few days, script kiddies are very prevalent on US servers these days. I guess we are still lucky in Europe. Saw some example of two SKs both with god mode enabled shooting at each other.
I think I am done with this game for now until the stand alone gets released.

here a good marked map for hely crash.
keep in mind there will be 3-4 crash at maximum on the server, until restart of it.
Install base game. Run it, exit it. Install OA on top. It will find the base game and install as combined operations.
Install dayz commander, it should do all the rest (download dayz, the official and thr beta patches for arma) automatically.
If you have the steam version of OA I have no clue and it might be possible that you need to install the 1,60 and 1,62 patches manually if the dayz commander doesn't do it for you. (Just download and execute exe)

If you dont have a second monitor you gonna want the steam overlay though. Check dayz commander settings to launch it with steam. Alt tabbing out to check the map is very VERY risky.
To be accepted into the whitelist of the server you need to do one of three things:
Be an active poster/commenter on /r/DayZ or similar DayZ-related subreddit.
Convince the moderators (me) in a comment below why you should be whitelisted
Get vouched for by a friend who is already whitelisted (please write this in the comment)

It's a private hive, but this server is definitely worth it, could just use a little more players, but still, even with 10 people on it, you still have more action that on a 50player public server
