So guys, I think it's about time for me to upgrade my trusty 5850. For two years it served me very well, but I've upgraded my monitor a while back, and now it struggles somewhat at 1080p. With new and exciting things on the horizon ( Laughing ) it might be a good time to upgrade. Budget wise I can go as high as 670, but the question is....should I? What would you recommend for some 1080p action?

Seems like I have a couple of options : 7870, 7950, 660Ti, 670.

My specs are at the sig.

Well, I'm really compelled to go for it, but this shit is expensive here ~ 600$. Now, as I've said, I can afford going that high, it's just that I'm not entirely sure I need to for 1080p eye candy...

You could get 660ti which is pretty much optimal for 1080p. Atleast in here finland you can get EVGA 660Ti for 289€ and it includes Borderlands 2, which is awesome deal tbh.

Yeah, I've been considering it.
Right now the possibilities look like that

1. 670 for 580$
2. 7950 for 540$
3. 7870 for 470$
4. 660ti for 450$

Now, I'm trying to figure out what would be the best performance/price ratio option from the above for 1080p.
The 660ti reviews made it sound like a half retarded 670 cousin and as you can see prices here are considerably higher than in US.
