It all just goes back to the general discussion on gaming that break out every once in a while (usually during or right after a trade show).
Gaming is becoming more and more casual and while some might say it's good for gaming (and the publishers rejoice because of more profit) it's less than pleasant for people who are really dedicated to gaming (I'm still not using the term "gamer" if I can avoid it since it still has a negative connotation for me).
To show how I feel about the future of gaming let me quote George Orwell's 1984
"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever."
Now imagine the boot belongs to the publishers and instead of the face they're kicking us in the balls.
That's it.
They realized casual gaming is a way bigger market than "hardcore" gaming.
That's why where getting put in the corner and every once in a while they throw us a decent game so we don't complain too much or too loud.
Concerning the gay sex: You and sabin (if he gets permission from his missis) go somewhere quiet while I try to scrub that thought of my brain with a tire iron.

Some people are interested in crating speculative bubble to earn money. Those companies are not worth that much. It’s like .com bubble only connected to gaming.

Quote: | But the Zynga offering is likely to be notable for other reasons too. For one, the size of its IPO could imply a lofty valuation of $15 billion to $20 billion or more, assuming the game company follows the increasingly-popular low-float model, in which companies sell only 10 percent or so of their shares to the public—partly in hopes of driving up their valuation. |
