I got my hands on a few of their CDs (Successor, Ecliptica, Winterheart's Guild, and Silence) and I'm impressed. Have any of you heard of them (they're big in Finland, so probably you have); What do you think of them, and what can you suggest of a similar style (A few other favorites of mine in this genre are Dark Moor and Fairyland.)

Dude, you are comparing Thrash Metal (apocahsdhfa) with Heavy Metal (sonata arctica) ? Man...

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Well if you know the difference between Thrash metal and Heavy Metal or Symphonic Metal, you will agree with me, if you don't (indeed) you won't (Heck! you prolly didn't even listen to any of them (SA and A) and you prolly think that Britney Spears is DEATH METAL).
Can't help you here...

that live in paris shit or wahetever it was called, where they played with a classical band, they used chello's...Im not a big Metallica fan but that concert did kick ass, seen it on TV. Enter Sandman with the classical instruments is amazing. Same as No Leaf Clover

the Metalica covers from Apocalyptica were pure shit compared (compared to, as in they were good but nothing as good as) to their Cult and Reflections albums. The latest, self-titled (Apocalyptica - Apocalyptica) sucks though. Avoid the last one, YOU MUST GET CULT AND REFLECTIONS THOUGH! 2 of my favorite albums. You cannot dislike those 2.
