You go down the stairs right inside from the undead merchant, and up a ladder after 4 easy guys to get up there. It's on the balcony upstairs once you've jumped in there.

you can kill him if you're good enough just by parrying and counter attacking/dodging his attacks but he will almost one hit you with a normal hit and with a stab he will one hit you
he's also one of the only guys who will give you some aim in the game so it's better to just leave him be, it's actually better to leave almost all of the NPC's alone

Does that fix work with FLT version/crack? (Still downloading)

Any idea if the offline profile method is working on the FLT version WITHOUT copying over the cracked files?

Looking at the files they just used unlocked and untouched DARKSOULS.exe, fmodex.dll and fmod_event.dll (MD5, CRC32, SHA1 checksums are the same as original files) + xlive.dll
It will work if you DO NOT copy xlive.dll or just install and start the game and it will auto decrypt the files.

damn i thought that was just a normal easy fight killed him with that item before i knew of this got the weapon but cant use it since im a mage

Tried both 0.2 and 0.3 with FLT crack and they work fine. The game is unplayable with mouse+kb though... I am at the very start after that boss (?) right next to the prison exit... I also have no clue how to switch shields and weapons as that cycling button seems to do nothing. I pillage the corpses with Q and after I picked up along sword and a shield, the two related cycling hotkeys seem to do nothing!

Nop, I was just using the V hotkey which should cycle the left hand items

I don't even think that you need the crack, I downloaded a clone some days ago, started the game from the launcher and it's working just fine. |

Nop, I was just using the V hotkey which should cycle the left hand items |
well you need to equip things first before you can cycle, generally

Why are people using cracks on the game, i just downloaded "Dark.Souls.Prepare.To.Die.Edition.RETAILDVD-P2P" create offline profile and iam playing the game, no need for crack on this game.
