Anyone tried the fxaa or smaa injectors? I don't get it. It's either not working or I'm too stupid to understand how to enable it. Sad

Should work just fine, just put all the files into the "Binaries" folder. Razz

As I said earlier I finished the game with the original crack (not crackfix) on Win7 x64 with no crash at all. Update your video drivers maybe? Spiderman/Darksiders are a crash feast though.

Had the time to beat it this week. 8/10 game imo. The ending was a bit lame and abrupt, but the actual gameplay in that level made up for it, loved how seamlessly you switch between the different bots Smile

I've been playing War for Cyberton and you guys were right! It's remarkably fun, but only after using the FPS c(r)ap remover as 30fps is painful in this game.

Huh?

EDIT: Ah yeah War for Cybertron might have used a FPS cap, Fall of Cybertron however only uses the UE3 smoothing and thus runs at up to 62 FPS. Smile

Yeah, I started with War as recommended - damned thing has a bloody framerate cap and a bad one at that, you can really see and feel the framerate judder Sad You can't even remap your keys, but luckily the defaults feel okay here and the mouse is fine too.

Don't remember the framerate cap. Then again, I still had the 8600GT back then so framerate above 30 in games wasn't a thing that I saw a lot. As for the controls, it's the same with this one. I'm not bothered since at least they give you a few layout and the default one is pretty much what I would have used anyway.

Does anyone know where is the savegame folder? can´t seem to find it anywhere. Maybe it´s an .ini file.

Haha Razz Well if you're using the fxaa injector made for KoA it's normal that you're still seeing the jaggies, it's more like a sharpening filter. The smaa injector should work better as a pure AA tool.

Or even better, create a profile for the game in the Nvidia control panel, and force fxaa from there.

When I came home I checked, but that folder does not exist, do you have it?

edit: it´s on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Transformers Fall of Cybertron\TransGame\SaveData

I own the game and I have that folder "C:\Users\Jonas\Documents\My Games\Transformers\TransGame\SaveData"

Jonas.transprofile and Jonas.checkpoint0.sav

Ini file and settings are stored in the registry I believe it was whereas the real settings are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Common\Transformers Fall of Cybertron\TransGame\Config\PC\Cooked\Coalesced.ini but that file is encrypted.

EDIT: But I also have that second folder now that you mentioned it.
(Same files though.)

That's because the first folder is for the First game (War of Cybertron), the second one is for the Second game (Fall of Cybertron) !!

finished FOC and thought I'd give WFC another run out. When i went into FOC it told me my save was corrupted, no problem I want to do it from the start anyway. went back to FOC and my levels are all locked again except the first one. idthe old game overwriting the new game? can they be put into different save locations?

For those interested about tweaking the game with the coalesced.ini,
it can be done with a little program from 2010(TWfC_util), which can be found when searching for "Transformers: War for Cybertron coalesced.int unpack".

It bothers a few antivirus programs, avast reported a trojan for me, although its clean. Virustotal.com has an analysis also.

Modified coalesced.ini can also be found on the steam forums but will probably not be compatible with all versions of the game.

Love the game, little things like calling optimus orion pax when accesing the teletraan terminals or the audio logs mentioning megatron's gladiator past are just great!

I was under the impression that due to the changed code that utility was not useful for Fall of Cybertron and separate utilities have been requested.

Hahah Very Happy . Yeah, I've decided to play FoC without trying the first one, I don't have much time these days so I need to optimize everything. Razz Never say never though!
