I dont really get what some of you means. Yes, its been pulled from gamershell.com but allready the 3'th post mentions a mirror which actually work.
That I think which game needs in the full version is a bit higher resolution (my monitor beeps at 800x600 or what ever it is) and the abillity to enter buildings. Perhaps the fighting could be improved by making a few different ways to attack like kicking (its missing expcet in jump attacks) or graps.
Ohh, yes, and that they remove those flying nets (you will understand what I mean if you try the demo) and let you chose what ever you would like to swing or zip (let spiderman zoom in on the spot) with perhaps 2 buttoms instead of one.

I think u actually can do all that stuff, but not in the shitty pc version. In the e3 trailer they show a lot of cool stuff, like most of the stuff u said that would be an improvment, but its only in the console version.

Van Helsing was a pretty good Xbox game, Harry Potter 3 PC isn't bad either. The two LOTR games also rocked (PC and Xbox too). Just because it's movie based, it isn't necesseraly crap. It's another thing, that THIS game is utter shit. And the other Spider-Man games were also crap as well. (I just HATE generalisations...  )
I think, that the real superhero games (Batman, Spider-Man, X2 Wolverine, Hulk etc, NOT Freedom Force which was awesome) almost all suxors for some reason. I cannot understand why they fails all the time... (And it's mainly the same on consoles, so it's not the "console port" thingie)

Actually there was 3 Lotr games for PS2, one for each movie, and they were all fine games. There wasnt much difference between them tho.

The first Spider-Man PC game (not the really first, because this one was a '80-s text adventure) used crappy graphics and horrible controls. It was a straigth and stupid console port.
The second one, Spider-Man the Movie had really great graphics, ambiance and levels but even worse control. It had a lots of combos, and the web zapping could be really enjoyable, if not for the dumb ass stupid control.
This third one has crappy graphics (even WORSE, than the first game), a boring gameplay and stupid combat, without combos (at least in this demo). But the control is OK this time around. "Great".
