Am I the only one who think that the character "Jonny" in this game looks like a spitting image of the shoe cleaner in Police Squad?
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

i just started to play this recently
The story and atmosphere is great too bad the aim is too consolish
anyways reminds me of the good old times where ego shooters were classy
(NOLF2etc. sigh)

Yup, it was a really nice suprise. I played it long after release as well, being rather disappointed by its demo at that time and there was also a big lack of interest in it.

Why would you replay a linear game you already played? Would you not rather have a long, relaxing walk? Meditate near a river? Marvel at nature's beauty and creatures?

NOTE: Newest version from Steam, fully uncut. Vendetta
mode is playable in offline mode.
I wonder if that FoV patcher works?

for me this game was awful , gone where the small details like TV , radio , graffiti and atmosphere of a real world , heck even sensitive trigger fingers on your gun that reacted on how much pressure you used on your xbox360/ps3 controller ... in came cell shadow cartoon look with a story that was simply put bad and a horrible story presentation with even worse forced MP 
the first one was a masterpiece the second was just trash... PC users dont understand it because they did not played the first part
a simple comparison would be Mass Effect 1 a action choice Rpg that was turned into a Action TPS ... that berps derps herps jurnos dubbed the GOTY of RPGS
same is with this game , darkness 1 was a story based game with a hub world and so many side missions and a living breathing town , heck it even had real movies you could sit and watch ... it was a simulator of a real man that became the DARKNESS, players mostly loved this game because it looked and felt like Riddic ... part 2 was only a brain less FPS with a incoherent story line

yeah ps3 version had lower framerate and no aa at all while 360 had 4xAA with full 720p and rather consistent 30 fps. Finished it like 3-4 times and want to finish it again soon. Not played it in year and I am sdesperate to have time to play it and I refuse short bursts. I want full day or two of calm playthrough, taking in amazing atmosphere, details and again - atmosphere.
Darkness2 was very good game tho. Sure, thats becasuse I love 1 but even tho it was made by different studio it had its moments like fantastic asylum imo.

Definitely not on the same level as DX. The WW1 sections were too much repetitive corridor shooting.
