Yeah, it's free if you "preorder" - but for those that don't, you can buy it when it launches. There's no way Gearbox would lock an entire CLASS, that's one fifth of the GAME, solely to people that preorder. It'll be like the DXHR preorder packs, free for people that purchase in advance, £1.99 to everyone else. et cetera.

It's the same shit Derp Silver pulled with Risen 2, rather than the minor things in DXHR. And Pey is in the same situation I was when I won Risen 2. You got the game before it launched but for free? Well, fuck you, that's not a preorder so you don't get the bonuses because... fuck you!

Aye, I'm far from defending it.. I think it's a pretty shitty thing to do. If you get the game ANY TIME prior to release, that should count as a preorder, no matter where you acquired the game from.

Well the Mechromancer was added AFTER they finished the game, so you can't really call it as included as Biowhore did with ME3.

I really am beginning to get irritated by these pre-order bonuses. It's a fucking scam imo, they're practically forcing gamers to buy the game before reading reviews. "You want to read reviews and know how the game is? Well fuck you we have a review embargo AND pre-order bonuses. Hahaha, sucker!".

Got it from GMG a while back. Can't wait to check it out. I just hope it doesn't get boring as fast to me as the first one got. I loved the graphics and art style, weapons, combat, etc. But I just got bored once I beat it once to be quite honest.
