Oh, so you're finished with Aleroth? Then it's pretty much just awesomeness now! My problem with that area were the actual catacombs. They were so badly balanced, that it made me give up on the game a few times. It's a pretty brutal game in general and I like that, but that part was too much.

Nope, but that's the main and biggest map. Although the one near the end is also extremely big, but with pretty much nothing in it but monsters. You also have the Dark Wood(s?) that's quite big, with a lot of stuff to do in it. Then there's that city which is also separate because of its size I guess. And you have the many dungeons and the sewers. It took me 65 hours to finish it and I could have squeezed more.

Currently playing L.A. Noire, never had the time to sit down and play it.

What the hell... there seems to be some kind of motion blur on the 2 screens for no particular reason?

Happens when you kill the last enemy. Screen goes slow motion.

Oh.
On the topic itself: I'm currently back at BF3 and strangely having a blast playing... rush
Also fiddling around to Arkham City but mostly because of this (no such problems, phew ) plus checking how it's DX11 mode runs and I tried having a go at X-COM UFO Defense but found that I really should read the manual for that one first.

True. Compared to Alan Wake, it's mediocre. Still a good game, I enjoyed it, but cause it's an Arcade title, it was rather short and pretty much reused the same scenery over and over which was the worst part imo.

Witcher 2 (first time with EE) and might install KOTOR 2 again too. If there's time before Borderlands 2 comes out, that is.

I recently finished American Nightmare too. I enjoyed it but was disappointing if compared to the original AW. It felt really short (took me ~3 hours on Nightmare difficulty) and the repetitive stages were quite boring to be honest. Still, a 7/10 game overall, because the atmosphere was still damn great.

Planescape Torment.
RPG are my favorite genre and yet I've never finished the game that many consider the pinnacle of role playing games. Just started but having a lot of fun.
