Drake Sword kinda ruins the beginning of the game. Get a regular weapon and start upgrading it, and learn the timings needed to parry/riposte all those beginning enemies... a lot more fun.

You don't have to upgrade your stats, though, so can just be people running around at level 1-10 that have completed most of the game..
People abuse the bottomless box in the console version.

I honestly wasn't aware of that of that lvl. range, but judging by their weapons/armor/spells they were either hackers or people who had already completed the game under lvl 17 ( ) or nearing so.
Either way I don't go out of my way to invade anyone, so I sure as hell don't want the opposite happening to me, at least until I finish it once.
If that's lame or derp by anyone's standards then well... I can live with that

One more thing, im really dissapointed in the pvp aspect of the game.. so they introduced an arena for which you have to wait ~15 minutes to get into a 3 minutes game.. i was so excited about it and now.. its frikin useless.. oh and.. ~15 minutes for a 1vs1 fight.. there's no one playing 2vs2 or deathmatch.. maybe if you wait for hours .. geez
Edit: basically invasions are all you get pvp wise... low lvl invasions too.. becase there's not many high lvl players so if you're level is high you end up invading the same person over and over..

jsut defeated seth the scaleless on the first try... what a nub boss  2 more areas left before the final stretch, the yellow wall in demon ruins and the hall of giants. and i still have no light source besides the damn 3 light spell charges. 102 hours so far so i expect another 15-20 max.
