how is this crysis 3 engine game? cant save any settings, in game settings doesnt work, changing cfg doesnt help, using community built utility same shit, attempted to start the game , it auto closed, crysis 3 engine and there is no sli profile? just how lazy is that
back in the day i used to think " more space game takes up, better it is",how is this just 1.5gb ?

appreciate an answer for this also. how is the game performance for mid range comps. mine is 3 years old.
intel 2.66 quad core with 8gb ram
geofre 285gtx w 1gb
windows 7 / 64bit
on high with 1080p res its very choppy. then i put my settings on medium with 1280/720 res only so the game is just playable. i know its beta but still...

It needs a better processor. Old quadcores (i guess you have q6600) pr dualcores like e8200-8400 won't do. My framerate was really bad (e8200 3,4, gtx670 oc) untill i used cfg files from official forums, optimised for dualcores and old quadcores. it looks bad this way, but it works fluid

played once, couldnt even change weapon groups, couldnt check controls in game either, turns out it control, which i attempted , eventually gave up, continued with the game , was fighting around, ran into a hill/cliff and my mech exploded. i suicided somehow.. good stuff, calling this very early alpha would make it justice, beta? well thats just pathetic

Game is not buggy. I play it several times a day and I don't have any problems with it. Have noticed graphical glitches from time to time, but nothing serious.
What the game really lacks in beta is content; personally I still find it a blast and a nice change of pace from playing tribes.
Running i7-2630qm (i7 second-gen quad mobile).
Radeon 6770m (no match for any desktop video card).
8GB of the finest generic ram ever.
120GB SSD.
Frame rate is around 20-30 I would say (which is surprising for my laptop), but I have heard the game has major issues with older dual-cores. I'm gonna give it a quick test on my AMD x2 550 and see just how bad it is.

They really need to add a tutorial, figuring out how to change weapons groups is still confusing.

Yeah it is confusing initially; use the arrow keys and press right control to select/deselect weapon groupings.
Weapons line up into groups vertically.
Also if you press backspace, you can change a group to either fire sequentially, or all at the same time. Very useful if you are spamming missiles or autocannon fire!
As for testing my old dual core cpu:
AMD x2 550 Dual-core.
4GB DDR2.
Radeon 6850.
2TB mechanical.
It's far faster than my i7 laptop; around 40 fps. This is on a terribad x2 550 dual core.
So your issue is not with your CPU, but probably driver related at a guess.

it did feel like a fairly early build but really wanted to try it out cus i happened to reinstall MW4mercs cpl months ago and getting repeatetive now. oh well ill give it a try again but i think its not worth the trouble. im use to turning with joystick and twisting with keybord but this is setup the otherway plus the pitch is inverted to. so my aim is going all over the place lol.

Maadmn, I have the same CPU, 4 gig of ram, Gforce GTX 570 and windows 7 32bit installed, it runs fine here at high res so im guessing its the card thats choking it, the Cpu has done well to keep up all these years.

yaah ive been wanting to get a new card soon but i dont think much of the 600 series. im pretty sure they need to optimise for dx10 cards and older gen cpu's.

Disappointed too, atm.
I like Mechwarrior Living Legends MUCH better -far more fun to play especially with combined operations...
Maybe Mechwarrior Online will get better...hopefully....

or whatever. its the sound effects that really gets me into the atmosphere of anything and its not there. it looks like a good game and its great that something came out atleast but i still liked 2 and 3 though differently much more.
