I can deal with the "only play MP in RU" thing, that's fine, but I *need* to know before I add the game to my library on the 20th; is the RU Retail copy language and IP-locked as well? If that is locked as well then I need to get a refund for the game before it launches.

Fuck it. If the game is IP/language locked, I'll just ask Valve to remove it from my account and consider myself €13 out of pocket Razz

AFAIK you can't ask support support to remove the game from Steam.

Since when? I've read about that being done plenty of times. You don't get the money back, but the game is removed.

~edit~

It's even in the subscriber agreement that it's a RIGHT of mine to permanently remove a subscription, though no refund will be given.

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

Games cannot be removed from a Steam account.

You are free to uninstall the game (right-click on the game name and select "Delete local content") and change your game list to show only installed games.

This can be done by clicking "Show" in the upper left-hand corner. From here, select the "Installed" option.

Another option would be to create a new category for only this title and then minimize the category. To create a new Category, please right click the game and choose "Set Category".

Then click on the category name in your Library to collapse the category.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Check my edit Neon. It's in the T&C that I have the right and, like xExtreme said, people do it quite often.

I specifically remember a case when a dude tried to remove a Russian version of Black Ops, but the support told him he has to provide a proof of purchase (ie a box with the cd-key ) and only then they can be removed...

Maybe the TOS were updated or something.

Don't think anyone at 2K/GBX has said anything about it, but the trend is that Season Pass will stay even after release.

Even though i don't really have the money, i ended up buying this as i loved the first one.

Now i just wish they would go: "SURPRISE RELEASE" and release it now.

Guess i'll look into the whole VPN business so i can get it the 18th instead of the 21st, never tried that before.

I personally use one of the US VPN's with a few minutes of free VPN trial.

Should be pretty easy to find with google.

Sadly this won't do a damned thing. Publishers IP/language lock games now because they know people get them cheaply rather than paying the ludicrous €60 from Steam/etc. Basically we're screwed as long as the publisher says so Sad

Even worse considering it's 2K games, who care as much about their customers as they do about syphilis.

Not funny, all Baltic countries get this nonsense. But I don't buy games at full price and from Steam Reaction

Glad I got the Nvidia promo key. Otherwise I would have no choice but to get the RU locked key since I'm in Estonia.

EDIT: Now I'm worried. It says that russian language BS on the store page but the game is listed as Borderlands 2 and I did get the full 4.5 GB preload. Am I ok or does teh russki prevail over nvidia?
