Someone read the script and didn't like it.

"By page 54, they are already onto Robocop 4.0, who looks like a "cop on steroids painted metallic blue." Oh, god... oh dear god... Robocop is a Transformer. He goes from "social mode" to "combat mode" and back. Full transformation." Laughing

"In the film, when Murphy is turned into Robocop 1.0, it's described "a high-tech version of the '80s suit." Then they show a focus group scene where criminals laugh at the design. "He looks like a toy from the '80s!" So they redesign him to look "meaner" as Robocop 2.0, who passes focus group approval."

"Hold onto your sides for more hilarious "Robocop" details. They outsource his construction to China" Reaction

"David sits, catatonic, looks at the TV -- MGM REMAKE TBD." It means "to be determined." They haven't decided which of their other movies to plug with that clip." Are You Serious

Can't wait for Robocop the Transformer, coming August 2013.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

He's probably taking over for Hugh Laurie who just left it not to long ago. I've read this is in trouble and may not get finished.

I've seen the total Recall remake and I thought it was not that bad just another fun summer sci-fi flic. It also followed the original story better than Arnold's did.

Most of it will be done/enhanced with CGI, so those pics don't mean much.

The original suit was as adequate for the 80's as the "new" one is for today.

Still, I prefer the old suit (by FAR) and think that this is just another shit reboot that won't come close to the first.
That said I can't wait to see what josé padilha is going to come up with... "PEDE PARA SAIR, SEU HUMANO BUNDÃO!" Laughing

eh. problem i have with the new suit is that it looks like body armor, where it SHOULD look like a machine body... make it a bit more bulky to make him stand out more from normal people. he SHOULD seem set-apart from normal people, rather than just looking like a super-cop

also black :/ should be metallic, to really sell that whole fake robot thing.. he needs to look synthetic, not 'sleek'.

OTHER than that, id have liked the new design. just bulk it up a bit, make it silver, and go. im glad theyre not just replicating the old look. if you have to remake something, do your own thing with it atleast.

Yeah. The suit should look like a prosthetic. Murphy was shot to pieces with lots of things needed to be replaced. The new one looks like a simple jumpsuit with panels over it.

I actually like the new robocop suit. As long as it's violent and has some cool shit going on... I don't care for the suit. at least it doesn't have nipples.
