Yup, without my brother at my side I don't care about MP either. $10 (€10 ) sounds like a great price, hopefully it can be ripped apart by modders so they can put back some of the removed music too
I honestly hope this sells well so that Activision considers doing a new, good THPS game. They were truly awesome hardcore arcade games.

If this sells well, they could consider doing a new THPS game using this engine. I'm curious how the gameplay feels to THPS veterans.
I think they nailed it, I played the first two to death on PS1 and i still mess up in the same places or fumble a trick as I did back then, but its still just as fun and satisfying when you pull off something nice.
Its crap the fact theres no graphics options to speak of, I couldnt even find a resolution option??? But it kind of adds to the old skool feel of it in an odd way, couldnt really expect much more fom it. I miss my PSone pad for playing it though xbox pad just dont feel right.
on xbox 360 it was shit .. but now its shit in HD on PC
this is a collection of the best maps from all the TONY HAWKS games and remade in HD... the thing was they lost the licenses for all the music so they PUT SOME CRAP IN IT plus you lost the ability to change it ... in mean WTF

heck and i don't even like skating games but those two didn't even feel like one , the first one was like a mario game with a 2:00 time limit to do some crazy shit ...and the second one was made with the crew of JACKASS and Viva La Bam this made it felt like it was a TV game show where you do some crazy shit mixed with GTA sand box crazy yes imagine a mission based gta style skate boarding game with crazy in it
all i wanted was a remade TONY 2 and THUG 2 in HD with new textures and models and i get this best of maps without the crazy and music in it ... skip pass moving on to the next game
I just played some Warehouse and School 2, and I enjoyed the handling. It is different than on the original engine, less floaty and more physical, but it seems like a solid handling model at first glance.
I also made my peace with the absence of reverts.
The port itself is a mixed bag. The technical aspects and graphics-to-performance ratio are fine, but the lack of options menu is unacceptable. I managed to increase the resolution by editing the ini file, but the LOD is way too aggressive for anything above 720p.

Hfric is being silly again They didn't lose "all the music" - just a lot of it. There's one track from THPS1 and SIX tracks from THPS2. Then they filled the rest of the game with other music

As for the game itself? I've not tried it yet, though a lot of people reckon the "feel" of the game has changed radically.. which would kill the magic. I'll try it shortly and see for myself.
It plays the same as THPS2... People are trolling here. A future DLC will be out and add THPS3 maps, including gameplay improvements that THPS3 added. I have the same fun I have than back during the PSX era.
Obviously, dont play this with a keyboard, it wont feel the same as the PSX pad... Prolly why you dont have the same feeling
What double standards? The soundtrack from THPS2 is arguably the best one of the series, so they got six of the fifteen tracks there, with seven new ones to pad it out. Do I like the choice? Hell no.. I wanted all #1 and all #2 tracks .. so I'm hoping for modders to fix it like they fix everything. You can change the soundtrack in the iOS version of THPS, so why not here?

The controls aren't really THPS2. This definitely feels different, but not necessarily bad. More like how you would expect a proper THPS game to handle in 2012.
Apparently you need to run it in Admin Mode to save, else there's permission errors that the game complains about. I'll try it in a few minutes and let you know
