The ridiculous quest system is still unchanged as far as I can tell. First 20min is full of forced conversations and MMO-like wall of text questlogs... I just want to shoot stuff and pick up loot, the story/quests are in the way. Sad

I quit playing yesterday due to lack of free time but my first impression is not positive at all.

So how is borderlands 2 really?

How can you change language in this game, except by reinstalling the game of course?

If you're using the Skidrow version, run B2Launcher.exe that came with their crack.

^ You can just edit the willowdlc.ini for those. Works with the legit version too, apparently. Just look back a few pages for the details.

Well you can "activate" it by modifying WillowDLC.ini, but I'm not sure if the game files are there or not.

Hmm...so is this DLC akin to Mad Moxxi's section in the first game? Horde battle?

Install Steam & then try again. Supposedly it doesn't work without Steam installed if you are using SKidrow crack. Alternatively you can use some other crack.

What do the Stars and X's indicate when you mark an item with them? I couldn't find any obvious use for it. Then again, I haven't had much sleep lately. Playing games all night haha.

I don't like how they cram their game full of obnoxious characters like that fucking robot. I can't even restart as a new character because I have to listen that thing for the first 20 minutes. Maybe longer too, I haven't played beyond that.

I don't find it funny at all, I just find it annoying.

Go to options "Mouse Smoothing" and choose "No".

What fix? or rather which problem?

You can disable that behavior from within the game and you can further change WillowInput.ini and set that command to false there too.

For game behavior capping the framerate should help and setting OneThreadFrameLag to false might also improve things a bit via WillowEngine.ini

I think I got that right, not 100% sure on what every command actually does.

Oh crap.. so its off in the options but
bEnableMouseSmoothing=true in willowinput.ini
i was checking the ini in the game folder instead of those in my documents folder.. so stupid.. let me try again with that thing set to false

nope, bEnableMouseSmoothing=false in willowinput.ini and the smoothing is still there, its subtle though, cant remember how more subtle than ~10 hours ago when i last tried it -.-
and in-game settings for mouse sensitivity is 20 (due to high dpi) and 60 in willowinput.ini; which makes me wonder if the game even uses that config file at all.. it has to be another config file maybe ?

Edit: maybe its my razer software playing jedi mind tricks on me.. let me test with another mouse O_o
Edit: ffs

X marks for trash so you can quick sell all at once, star is to favorite to either find it quicker or maybe doesn't allow you accidentaly sell it, not sure, haven't tested it.

The star is a "favorite" so it cannot be accidentally sold or dropped. The red x will allow you to sell a whole bunch of weapons all at once.

At least that's what I've read.

I was hoping the "favorites" would let me quick swap a whole set of gear for different situations (like a sniper build, then a close range build, etc), but I guess not.

No one? The accuracy rating of weapons makes absolutely no sense to me.

Scratch Head I haven't seen a single "wall of text". The longest took me less than a minute to read.

She looks old on that one. This one better:

sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual

Higher accuracy = less spread would be my guess.

Wall of text = ~20 words for gamers nowadays Laughing

Yeah, I'm not sure what you mean either mister_s... the higher accuracy the less spread between the reticule and the most likely your bullets are to hit. That's as far as I know.

Come to think of it, I've had a few weapons that get higher accuracy the more you shoot, and the crosshair/spread reduced, so it's definitely that.
