Hallo!
So I'm quite rapidly enlarging my article library, which at the moment is a large folder completely unsorted :/. This of cause have to change soon. My university offers Endnote is that any good? I've just been recommended Jabref as well.

What I need is some easy and automatic indexsation and easy extraction of bibtex information.

not sure if this is what you are asking, but http://www.refworks.com/ is what I use in my job for managing research articles I want to cite in papers and whatnot...

edit: I realize this costs $$$ which might not make it the best solution for a student...
