Great game so far in co-op.
Lvl31 and still going!
Even my gf enjoys it a lot, as an engineer (with a cannon).
She wants to reset all skill points, is there a way for that?

Berserker myself, just taking passive skills atm.

you need to enable the console and then type in "resetskills"

That might flag you as a cheater though? Or maybe that was only in Torchlight 1?

What about those dudes in the villages that reset stuff if you pay them?
(I've never used them but they should be in every town, in the first one they are very near to the fountain.)

they just let you reset your last 3 skill picks.
I don't know if there's a non-cheating way to reset all skills, only level 12 so far Razz

Yes any console use will flag the character in multiplayer.
Or even use of any item made from the console by another character.

Id wait for a mod for a respec.

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2946086

Im sure somebody has already figured out how to remove the flag anyway.

I wish theyd release TorchEd just so I can mod the mouse cursor so it doesn't disappear in the falling snow areas.

Or it would be nice if the"weather"toggle actually worked there.

What Torchlight did to the hack and slay genre is the same that Mass Effect saga did to the RPGS
So what did it do?
It raped the genre into the ground
Bland, ugly and boring gfx recycled from the first torchlight? -CHECK
Diablo 2-3 story clone -CHECK
horrible voice acting and generic sound effects -CHECK
Connectivity issues but since it has fanbois no one dares to critisize it -CHECK

Fact is torchlight 2 has cheap written all over it and guess WHAT thats why it is so cheap and you actually get it for 20 dollars

if torchlight and diablo were cars torchlight would be a bicycle

ooohh ..soo...kids complain :"daddy , we dont have legendary drops in D3" , dad says : "Dont worry kids , I ll bought you TL2 where almost every drops are legendary!"
kids: "Oooo Dady..now we play , later we touch you in the bathroom? You are soo good to us!"

..in my 37 years I never seen so much trash then in one place this game. ..D3 is fucking rubicon cube comparing to TL2..its like comparing "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" to "Termintaor Alien"...well, they are both terminators..

dont matter, hack and slash games are all about loot and face it, loot is fucking awesome sausage compared to crappy Diablo 3 that was 11 years in development.

and graphics are not that great either in D3, story is shit, no jump acting,
more like D3 raped the genre

Nah, not really.

Torchlight 2 embraces the primary strengths of the genre, but makes the mistake of all but abandoning the secondary stuff - like the story and presentation. It does nothing to bring it forward, though.

Diablo 3 disappointed a lot of people, which means that a lot of people are jumping to exaggerate the strengths of any competitor - but the fair response is that both games have good things to offer.

Personally, I think Hellgate was a bolder and more promising step towards a genuine evolution of the genre. Too bad the launch was a mess - and the PR nightmare made sure it never recovered from that.

Also, Borderlands 2, despite the weaknesses in the character development system and the somewhat single-minded nature of the gun-oriented combat - is probably the best of the three for what it does.

Beyond that, I think Path of Exile might end up on top for the hardcore audience - but it's not easy to predict the future.

Wonder if they got the right one, earlier they released 1.10.xx now there's a 1.11.xx although I haven't seen the changelog yet or rather most seem to be from 1.10.xx so maybe it was just some quick update.
(However the patch says client6to8 instead of client6to7 which it did with the 1.10 update.)

EDIT: Ah maybe I just read it wrong, there seems to be a few additional fixes listed at the bottom of that document.

I think people here are smart enough to judge a game on its own merits. "Diablo 3 sucked ass, we need an aRPG badly, so we'll call this average shit awesome" is not the case.'We're not children looking for a new toy.

The gameplay is great, sadly the entire aRPG genre has not moved an inch in other areas. While Diablo 3 did have great storytelling, it was due to a very high budget and the story was still crap/fluff. Apparently good story and aRPG can never coincide, god knows why, but as long as the gameplay elements are great it is a great game.
As for GFX, I don't know which Diablo 3 played, but it looked to me nothing more than average. It just had more clutter.

I tried the RELOADED update now and it's 1.11.5.3. That's the latest as far as I know.
