Yeah it's called being discrete. This is not about me having a go at you for pirating a game. Why would I when I'm waiting for the release. It's about choosing your words carefully. Just because the forum is devoted to piracy doesn't mean you need to shout it out so obviously. Rolling Eyes Otherwise why do you think there are stickied forum rules forbidding posting actual links to download pirated games? Not only that, but like a spoilt brat you said you would pirate this game with even more determination just because you didn't like what a game dev had to say, even if you did misread it. Grow up.

You seem to have some misguided sense of being on a moral high ground, or you believe you somehow have a more legitimate reason to download the game. It doesn't matter why you're downloading it, the fact is you're a pirate the same as the rest of us. Telling me to "grow up" for not wishing to support a developer is ridiculous. By that logic you might as well say everyone who pirates to avoid DRM should "grow up".

played it on the xbox ... and yep it became derp , very consolized crappy game... from a game that forced to used logic it became a LA NOIR with mini games... not kidding

It starts with 3 herpa derpa 6 year old kids lol wut not kidding going into this attic in fuck dunno where and in so puppet made in the image of Dr.Watson they find a manuscript and say ... let read it defuq ... this made me what to skip the whole game how absurd this whole scene was... but moving on

your LOCKED IN ONE ROOM and go from ONE room to room , not location to location ... you can't moveto other rooms before you don't spot all clues that NOW BLINK LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER lol wut weeeee wtf , this game uses two mechanics Logic Questions and Minigames :

Logic Questions are presented in this note pad style , in it you pick the right question to fit the thing your investigating ... pick the right thing and BING next room

Minigames are well mini games , move a horse piece to fill a chessboard , pin the pins in the safe [spoiling you like now HAHAHA good god the whole story was so lame i could see the twist from A MFUCKING MILE AWAY]

if your stuck in any way ... like .... for ....50 sec.... you push a button and something awesome happens BUTTON AWESOME .... the only thing if you solve a puzzle is a achivment and thats it

game now play like a CGI movie then a Sherlock Holmes game ... Arsene Lupin showed the world HOW A ADVENTURE GAME SHOULD BE , use LOGIC RATIONAL PUZZLES that can be beat if you JUST THINK .... now its more like oh its too hard *suddenly a ding MAGIC BUTTON ICON after from 10 to 60 sec* ... did i used it yes i did , why well making a adventure game with logic puzzles is one thing making them as mini games that are crazy is the other ...

GFx 9/10
Performance oin xbox 3/10 it lagged like a motherfucker dips from 3 to 10 to 30 fps ;/ but yeah what can you expect from a 512 ram , heh and NOW YOU FUCKING GET IT WHY THIS GAME uses one room then a whole interactive TOWN like in the Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened that was in my pinion the best holmes plot mixing it with CATHULU horror stories
Plot 1,5/10 many detailed gore models to shock

it looks good but i play for the plot ... and by playing this game the only thing i could see was a consolidated Holmes game made like a LA NOIR mixed with Mass Effect dialog system thing ....making it a cinematic derp game of Sherlock proportions Laughing

after ending it i must say .... skip .... go back to the PC and make another HORROR story with Holmes

RLD never really cracked "Act Control" they found a loophole in the activation system to create activation keys. and the Act Control locksmith might have changed the loophole lock..

for "end users" it doesn't change anything as long as they can play the game... Smile

However the defenders of the old school scene spirit who are lecturing Skidrow about their Securom cracks should work on their Act Control cracks Smile

the proper way (at least by RLD own "olschool l33t standards") is the reverse the protection and crack the VM.

The new update to Wargame: European Escalation contains a new version of the infamous ActControl with the so-called hole patched up and yet it was still cracked by RLD.

I hope it's a 'rly' and they've just unknowingly omitted Starforce/Actcontrol out of the NFO, cause we're all doomed then if they haven't. Sad

True...we all know that FBI's Anti-Warez Unit is monitoring this forum, only waiting for "random nickname" to write that they're going to download warez Sad

My gf bought it for me, we played 2 hours so far and it seems really, really good. It's very similar to the previous SH game, "Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper".

Deduction boards are back, the dialogues were revised, the puzzles so far were engaging, a skip puzzle button is a nice touch though I haven't used it yet.

Yeah, you can't leave the room until you do everything, but it was the case in every Holmes game so far.

does it still have quests chasing down pigeons and bs like that?
i really liked the cthulhu one
the puzzles made some sense
the later ones were just running around doing unrelated nonsense

To be honest the most difficult one was SH vs Arsene Lupin... This one should be much easier.

unning around doing unrelated nonsense

same here i finished this game on xbox and i must say ... its the worst holmes game i have ever played , the last good one was Arsène Lupin

but like they said it was TO HARD for derps so this new one had to be DUMBED THE FUCK DOWN ... it is now so dumbed down that a sand box London that you could explore is now gone , replaced with a static crappy map image... :/ you are stuck in one ULTRA SMALL MAP that now is ultra high detailed so ULTRA you could say its a real room ... but yeah all this to make it fit in 512 ram of a console unit .... hmmm awful story line simply awful
