The demo on slow speed was basically perfect, i hope they haven't changed anything.
I was using the dynamic camera (max height/minimum zoom), very close to the action but not too much. Don't like cameras from the Moon, since I can use the radar

Its unlocked in Chine though. Just unlocked the exe trough Hong Kong VPN. So they can crack it.

It depends if you want a realistic game or not , on the fifa demo default settings Walcott was clocking over 6 seconds to sprint half the pitch from fresh (jogging start)
In real life he could clock under 6 seconds im sure (give him a jogging start).
So the game on default settings is a just a little too slow
but is still better than pes where Walcott was clocking around 7.4 seconds (i could get close to that and im 15 stones out of shape lol).
A perfect game from a realisim viewpoint (its what were all after no?)
would have the players running at speeds exactly as there real life counterparts.
Now its much harder to test football velocity, (out of ideas on that one?)
But fifas shooting has improved a lot and it seems quite realistic now. |
Yeah it's basically impossible to match the real values with the virtual ones,maybe messing around with the sliders could provide even better results (didn't try it myself).
However, I like slow speed because it gives me the time to think and build an action, at least in a videogame, since actual football has gotten incredibly fast.

Played a few matches on the 360 and this game has all the flaws of the previous in the series. The defensive AI is non existent, leaving huge gaps in centre of the field. The game is too fast even on slow and it's real pain in the ass defending, because the AI does this ridiculous fast left-right moves. The players are again floating on the pitch, the Ai defence does perfect tackles so unless you do some fancy tricks there is no chance of beating it. The first touch is good in some situations but it feels very forced sometimes. Maybe I'm gonna play it because the manager mode is looking good but in terms of gameplay, even with it's shit animations PES is better in my opinion.

acida did you really expect a good game ? it's EA and this shit game could simply be released as a dlc for fifa12, it's nothing more and nothing less compared to fifa12. Same shit menu, same shit engine, same shit style.
Fifa 12.1 it is!

You like it or not it's the best FIFA to date. Of course it's not perfect. Of course it has flaws.
PES is close behind but again not winning.

Honestly I noticed several improvements gameplay-wise if compared to FIFA 12. Sure the AI is still far from being perfect and defensive play still sucks, but overall the game is more entertaining and unpredictable than before (less automatized copy-pasta actions).
