The soundtrack in B2 is sparse at best... but god damn if the music that plays in the Wildlife Exploitation Zone isn't fantastic Strong Alexander Brandon vibe coming from there
This game has some of the best humour I've seen in a game for ages. I've had to chuckle a bit for myself several times - and I never really does that. Jack is just a legend and all those pop-culture reverences are awesome.
SPOILER: Like the time you're looking for that loot outside the church. First comes one bad motherfucker and you're thinking to yourself "Oh a western style showdown I like it". Then comes another ugly motherfucker and we decides to shoot when the clock chimes 3 times. Now I'm thinking to myself "hang on... I've seen this before". So there we are - the good, the bad and the ugly - duking it out while I'm laughing to myself. And what about that Tiny Tina. LOL.
I can't even find it online since I don't know what the track name is and it doesn't appear in the OST. It's not Pandora Park, or at least it doesn't sound like it is.

Absolutely agreed! The humour in this is top notch and Jack is just... well fuck it, he's the best villain I've seen in a game in a long, long time. He's so funny and also purely despicable, you just love to hate him

Strange, cause my german Borderlands version is fully uncut with instagib and such :/
Perhaps you don't have a German copy after all? It's long been a known fact, debated and hated on across the gaming world, confirmed repeatedly by Gearbox, that BL1 is cut and censored in Germany with the "Low Violence Version"
I finally found my The Bee shield to go with my Rapid Infinity Damage of 5000 with a fire rate of 8.0... oh this is delicious
It works with cars too (well, the machine guns at least, didn't even bother trying the rest) - since cars have no shields, the effect is on all the time.
Aye, I *just* noticed while I was driving 20,000 damage per shot? Yes please! You were right mate... it was well worth farming for. Just a shame it's such a late-game drop

I wonder what else there is, there's quite a lot to explore but much of it (Like the observatory.) mostly leads to hidden loot chests though some areas also have optional side quests to discover, seems there's around a hundred or so all in all as I've done around 93 of them and there's just about seven active quests left with one of them being grayed out as undiscovered.
(Then I have to do it all over again in the True Vault Hunter mode, ha ha ha.)
EDIT: Need to find the background audio tapes as well, there's a lot of interesting info in these, including series for each of the main characters and other interesting info.

So far with these little easter-egg things I've found the Minecraft one, this Rainbow, Rakkman, Bonehead 2.0 and of course there's some minor references in quest and item descriptions, hidden developer chest should be in the area I'm now at but I've yet to find it, near Rakkman there's also some stuff I don't fully understand such as a half buried treasure chest and a checkpoint you have to snipe to activate but I assume you then have to kill yourself to spawn there.
Some quests are clearly nods to other things as well like Snow White or such.
