There is a new Easteregg found in the Game with reference to LotR and 3 chests were one of it will 100% drop Purple stuff.

Conditions are not 100% clear on Pt1, but it seems you need to have Eridium Blights atleast discovered. Some ppl reported to be working on Pt1, but it will surely work on Pt2.

Goto Claptraps place and take a look at his fireplace, there lies an Echorecorder which states something about unbreakable Gear, when you pick it up no audio will be played.

All you have todo then is to goto Eridium Blights without using ny Fasttravel and no dying (you can run/drive there).

When you hit Eridium Blights, go on top to the Volcano to Geary (northwest of the map) and wait till he gives you a slap, he will take the Echo and run to a cliff jumping in the Lava, then 3 Rakks appear with Chests and they will drop them for you.

Here is the Route for getting there the normal way.

Claptrap's Place -> Southern Shelf -> Three Horns pt.1 -> Three Horns pt.2 -> The Dust -> Eridium Blight -> Geary

Well yeah if you press escape it pauses, if you go to the in-game menus tho everything goes on normally (just check by some background animated fan etc. or some npc's, normally the game freezes but in multiple players mode they continue as normal).

Are you sure? Try using the fast travel first to confirm that there's a delay, then find some enemies - once they attack you, go into your inventory screen for example and see if they continue attacking.

Meh, retarded people are retarded.

It's well known that there are crawlers on twitter for keys and shit, yet these people still keep posting them that way.
Fucking retarded...

Ah, I figured it had to be something like that. Fuck it then. After more than a year, finally had a reason to look at twitter.. but nope! Laughing

Cool game indeed!

But the first thing that i took notice of was that i felt sick/motion sickens after only a few min with this game, something is seriously wrong with the FOV in this game, havent tried to change it but i will try it now. I looked around and it seems its lots of people experiencing the same. I have played FPS for 15 years and now and then you see this phenomena. But this is probably the worst case yet.

If we skip this part the game is fun and have a new fresh look to it.

I don't like that the enemy's re-spawn so quickly tho, its ok if you fast travel between different areas etc, but i don't want them to re-spawn at the location im at, just seems silly to me.

I believe it's tied to the day/night cycle but I could be wrong about that, still judging by the clock they have up at that western like town (EDIT: Lynchwood.) one second is one minute in the game so it's very quick.
(You can clear part of the area you are in usually but for larger maps the initial areas will begin to respawn when you get back.)

At the "True Vault Hunt" mode of the game now, not much differs so far but the enemies have been replaced with higher level versions, I'm already seeing enemies close to level 40 which is interesting, much more of those rare "super badass" enemy variants as well though normal badass enemies still appear frequently.

Heh the scaling really amps up near the end (42+), green weapons few levels higher than epics do way more damage, and enemies are very brutal too if you wander off to a zone higher than you.

Finished it last night, lv35 and it took me 52hours (Shocked knock around 5hrs off that for random alt-tabs and doing other stuff) and I loved every friggin' second of it! Easy GOTY candidate for me - Dishonoured has certainly got its work cut out for it Very Happy Sadly, due to the extremely repetitive nature of BL and games like it, I won't be doing a reply for quite some time -- though I will play through all the DLCs once they're all out Very Happy

Me and my bro play the cracked version on LAN, we are going to give ourselves gold keys since we never got any, im just wondering what a normal amount of keys would be for someone playing the purchased version as I don't want to over power myself.

You should keep the saves and such at least Sabin in case you decide to try the "True vault hunter" mode or playthrough 2 basically, albeit as you said a lot of the content will be the same so yeah things will get a bit repetitive.
(You can also try the DLC in that mode then and get greater rewards and such.)

@Readonly

Honestly? Give yourself 20 keys. Use four every five levels after LV5 to get a nice range of scaled loot and then stop. Don't rely on gold chest loot as you'll ruin your enjoyment of the game.

@Sohei

I reject that. There's no extra content from 30-50, it's all the same (except Terramorphous) so it's basically just like going from Normal to Nightmare in Diablo.. pointless for anything except increased challenge Smile

@JB

Aye, I'm keeping my saves and I've already converted my character into TVH (BL2.5 Very Happy) mode ready for the future.

Technically the "2.5" mode is when you beat the second playthrough (or TVHM) - doing that will scale every mob to lvl 50, like in BL1. It also scales all the quest rewards, so if you want some of the special ones (like Law & Order, some of the unique relics and so on) it's best to wait until hitting 50 before doing those.

Yup! I already have Law pistol and I recently found Order shield .. both of which would be amazing for a melee build. Thanks for the clarification, I was trying to be funny about BL2 and then .5 for the next play, I didn't realise 2.5 is actually the 3rd play Very Happy

Yeah the extra second difficulty "post-story" mode was already called 2.5 back in the first Borderlands, tho I never got that far. It's nice that they've added that again, even if it's for the very small minority who's obsessed enough with the game.

Borderlands 2 is much more engaging, but enough is enough. Playing the whole thing twice, THEN starting the farming grind with countless of boss kills (and trying to get the same thing drop loads of times because you want the one with the perfect stats)?

The very thought makes me

Aye, that's exactly my feeling too. BL2 is vastly improved over the first game in every possible way (it's nice to finally put voices to the original crew and finding those audio logs that detail the history and backstory of the new guys? I like!) -- but it's still the same content and there's a lot of it. I won't be doing a replay again for a good long while. Dezz has already started going through TVH and I think he's insane grinhurt
