Loved GTASA and Silent Hunter 3.
The only game that I am waiting for is Dungeon Siege 2 but I haven't bothered keeping track of what is coming out soon.

i remember the same time last year we were complaining of the same thing. summer and games don't mix. if only a good game were released now it'd capture 100% of the market!!!

I found my CD's last week and am playing BG2 again, as well as WC3X Online again - DOTA  And some source. It's been a dull summer, I've even resorted to renting Xbox games... and yay for modchips. |

Facade also interest me a lot.
Sure it looks ugly, but it is really interresting as an IA tech demo. Actually, it could have been entirely text based, and still as interresting. I can't get it right now, but I'm really curious to seen how much a computer can handle free user input in a storyline.
Just imagine what this kind of experiment could give in future game. Imagine an adventure game where you could talk to every character by typing your sentence instead of choosing it in a list.
And the character could answer you in a natural way. With an adapted answer, instead of a prepared sentence.
THAT would open new possibility to gaming.
