All of you that have issues with dmg, just upgrade a Black Knight Great Axe to +5, your damage worries will go away.

That's odd. I use it without any crack and it boots straight away. It's FLT release, in case you're wondering. As far as I can remember, it only had a zero day protection. So really no need to use the FLT crack.

Where are the save-games located?
I only found the documents/NBGI/Dark souls ones, but they don't seem to load from there...

with the crack from FLT they load from there

Just finished the game + Artorias of the Abyss DLC. What a brilliant game, hands down my GOTY (at least until Dishonored and Hitman: Absolution ship).

So I can't buy Dark Souls digitally because GFWL is not officially supported in Israel. GFWL games DO work here, though.
I've found a site that sells a key for cheap. They say that it's a key that can be used to unlock the game on Steam. Anyone know if it's possible to unlock a regionally unavailable game with a valid key? If not, is it possible that this key is just a regular GFWL key that I can use to connect to LIVE?

If GFWL is not supported in your country you're forced to create an account with a supported region, right? Both GFWL and that dark souls key will work even if the region selected at GFWL account creation isnt the real one; just pick UK
Edit: the key is multilanguage so the steam download will be in english

Yea, I think that I've chosen one of the supported regions when I signed up. I already have an account that is proven to work. My question is whether the key is a special Steam key intended for unlocking the game on Steam, or is it just a standard GFWL key?

Its both, it cant be just a Steam key as a it would be useless without GFWL access and its not just a GFWL key because they added Steam functionality to all GFWL keys for this game. So yeah.. both... 1 key 2 uses

does this game have secure online-servers ? as in, the character data is not saved locally and you can't "simply" cheat.
