Steam never has it for pre-order, never announces its availability, and then on release day, 1PM Eastern, it just pops up. Happened with 2K12 for sure, I'm being told it happened previous years too.
So it should be out for everyone on Steam.

Oh yeah, just realized I had bought my Football Manager 12 key from them.
BalleKnut, you get a serial, and there's a menu option in Steam to enter a Steam key, which adds the game to the collection.

If you already have a valid key the game will appear in your library regardless.

Any cheap place to snag this? I'm definitely interested in it, but I'd like to find out if online works before I spend any damn money this year. Tired of paying to be able to play online and it never works, year after year after f'n year.

Right now the game is on "pre-order" status even on OKS, so they haven't given me a key yet, although they have my monies. It should be available soon though.

Apparently all DDs have been pushed back to October 16 for whatever reason. Only other option is retail.
Guess a pirate copy will have to do until then.
