Not sure what would happen if you allow a pirated copy online, last year I bought the game and didn't enter any cd-key (I accidentally skipped it and the game never asked me again) and the game was running fine, not sure what the hell that key is for.

Its too easy to score with the default ones, doesn't feel real to me. This is superstar difficulty. I was barely winning on all star on 2k12 and this was effortless.

I usually get this for pc, but calling plays out loud to kinect then having your team carry them out instantly adds a whole new dimension to the game, so def the 360 version this year.Seriously I cant get enough of shouting "pick and roll malone" and running it with stockton while playing with the dream team!

You won't be able to call for players by their name, but you can call for them by position, plus, unlike Kinect, you're able to add and edit commands, so you can add any button combo to a voice command!
Granted, there are other things to persuade you to get the console version that the PC one is lacking, such as MyTEAM, MyPLAYER closet, VC, etc.
But if only Speech Recognition is the one that tells you to buy the X360 version, we have that on PC too now!

Doesn't the pc version have VC? Or was that for online mode. I only got rld version atm. Or is this another thing they failed to mention to pc users, along with no myteam, and no clothing customization..

Anyone actually buy it and try it online? I've no doubt the game will be fun, as all of them have been. But online is what will determine if I actually buy the game.

Just tried a quick match, and it was so good . But I need to re-learn the controls once again, I'm quite noob.
The only thing that I didn't like was the presentation with Jay-Z and yoyo stuff  but other than that it's mighty fine.

Was this online vs someone else? Did it lag or did you have problems?
Also, is there an easy way to do a quick match with someone else who bought the game?

It was against the AI, don't know if everything has been fixed this year (online-wise) since I'm on the pirated version. I guess we have to wait to know the truth  |

My Player is weird this year. I feel like a total clutz in the rookie game and it seems like if you make a mistake like trying to steal or block at the wrong time you can get stuck in really long animations

It's not weird.It's better.You are penalized for steal button overuse.It's good that 2k listens the hardcore bball fans.Same happens with bad timing in blocking.
p.s. This game is amazing.First time I didn't touch the sliders as it plays great out of the box (simulation sliders ofc).

I didn't feel no penalty when I was stealing with Rubio, he's got the Steal sig (Quick hands) maybe that was why.
