Ever since EA fired the NFS team that made Underground/Most Wanted and hired Criterion, every NFS game are now Burnout games under a different brandname. As far as I'm concerned, NFS is dead.
For me, NFS died when EA released Underground. Just as the recent games are spiritual successors to Burnout, the Underground games were interactive hip hop videos.
NFD dies with Porsche mate. Not even with HP2, but with Porsche.
Yeah, but how is that tied to renderer? That's why I didn't understand your facepalm over improving the shadows or lighting.
When you start to boast with visuals instead of gameplay decisions (and full-time autolog is not this) then you know that nothing good is going to happen
Oh and I wasn't exactly facepalming... I was resting my head on the kb
Ahhh... well you know how it is these days, graphics THEN gameplay I still don't think the game will ever match the original Most Wanted and it certainly won't come close to Porsche Unleashed

Clearly NFSMW2 won't match the original. It's a Burnout clone first and foremost. And remember the trend that started with Pro Street and continued.
The original NFS series (1-5) had some of the most exquisite circuits ever made. Only GT series on PS consoles could rival those. With HP2 everything went console. I confess that I liked the arcade style of NFSU, NFSU2, NFSMW and NFS Carbon, but none of those was near of NFS Porsche Unleashed or NFS 3 (the original HP).
Bloom. Blur. Glare. Lens flare. Awful framerate. "Billboard Smash!". "Takedown!". On the fly tyre inflating and car mods changing (). It's just a flashy Burnout title.. there goes any desire I originally had
It would be awesome to have a hybrid with similar features as this NFS but with somewhat semi realistic driving/unforgiving damage instead. These games are just too flat and boring for my tastes
This looks exactly like Burnout Paradise from 2007, just different cars. Some of the jumps and the totally unrealistic handling model are copied straight from that title..
They should've called this Burnout: Most Wanted.
NFS is dead, stop making more crap under the NFS banner.
I think it will be boring. A wannable burnout paradise is not burnout paradise
