Well I fixed my problem. It seems that FIFA 13 requires Windows Media Player to play the intro (lol?) and thus the crashes. As I uninstall that awful piece of shit every time I install Windows, I clearly was missing the requirement.

The Yarr version works fine (even if it still uses Origin like Fifa 12), but there's one thing that I don't like, and it's the fact that the "Slow speed" is considerably faster than the demo. I never asked for this

Yarr version is patched so i though it should include those updates. Have a friend with original ill just ask him to make save of his squads and ill just load them in my game.

I think you can skip the intro with SKIP_BOOTFLOW=1

wont work either, at least what i know from the last years xbox version. was kinda difficult to get those updates (i.e. impossible without liveaccess). but i have no time to test it right now, sorry

Didnt work for me, also tried to rename the file to the same as the one i have on my folder but still no luck. Maybe that file is for online squads only ? Do you have a file called "Squads 20121008160834#Squads 1" ?

It loads with no errors, but there is no change in Porto squad... So as a last resort we can try like Sohai said and get file named something like Squads 20121008160834#Squads 1" with no online shit after the name.

Be buggered if the Reloaded works for me, constantly asking to log in to Origin, blocked that and the fifa.exe and still it tries to log in,.
If I shut down the origin login then nothing happens from the setup launcher.
If I try the fifa.exe direct it gets to a screen but then goes back to bringing up the Origin or simply sits there..

Ok so the trick actually works. I took the files from my friend.

1. Delete anything related with squads in save directory.
2. Paste the files from the archive
3. Start the game then go to My FIFA 13 - Load - Squads and load the one with latest date.
4. Enjoy
5. Make sure to make those 3 files read only so they wont get overwritten once you quit carrier mode.

I was able to get my hands on a legit copy. After around 12 hours of gameplay I had to re-install origin and the game, because of a trojan getting in there thanks to my girlfriend. Now the fucking game won't start and crashes when trying to launch it from Origin or the exe. Also the config exe doesn't work.
Any ideas for a possible solution?
