Okay, got it to work. Now I'm gonna put steam in offline mode, so what's gonna happen with the game in 3 days when go online again?
Is Steam gonna remember my progress and achiements?

Nope.
At least it didn't for me with Skyrim (had it offline before and during the "reverse flying dragons patch"  )

It depends on the game, I think. Probably not. Latest game I played in offline mode was Shogun 2 and that didn't save my achievements...

okay, im still in the sewers, but i like it very much, it does feel a bit finnicky but i think thats because i'm new to it. its really too bad that you can't hide in the shadows, i was standing in a super dark corner covered in shadows and they still saw me. also, i died pretty far in the level and now i have to start all over, where are those checkpoints? other than that, pretty cool so far.
