130fps here nearly all the time. I get the occasional drop to about 120. I don't ever remember getting that kind of performance in any new, just released game.
Edit: Just thinking about this. With a 120hz monitor I should turn vsync on, right? So that will sync the frames to the monitor at 120fps?

Unpack everything into the same folder where's Dishonored.exe (Win32), it's enabled by default and see if you like it

Is this game from the last century or something?
Adjustable FOV, options for mouse sensitivity and smoothing, all the UI helpers can be turned off at will, keys for leaning left and right... MADNESS. It's like playing an actual PC game.
Don't have the time to spend on it atm so I just messed around a bit in the tutorial but it's definitely promising on the technical side. Minus the lowres textures ofc.

This is definitely a game that is (IMO!) significantly improved by SweetFX. I *really* didn't like it for Borderlands 2, but this? Yeah, it's really impressive.

I've tried to alter the saturation but I definitely prefer the default colors over the artificially "boosted" ones, it's more natural and pleasant to the eyes . The sharpen effect on the other hand is very effective on this game.

So decided to try the starting sewer level and even though I wasn't detected by anything (rats or guards) there isn't a check in front of ghost (never detected) at the end Is this a bug
1 and 2 are still amazing.

My problem with all these injectors (ENB, SMAA, etc) are that they don't allow D3DOverrider to work and force D3D Triple Buffering, meaning that VSync is going 60-30-60-30-... all the time on games that don't play that well.
Is SweetFX any different in that aspect? Is there another way to force Triple Buffering that works when using such injectors?

I don't think so, isn't that the case for the two guards in the sewers, first mission? They didn't count as kills for me.

That was for intro to game mechanics and wouldn't count anyway;
Spoiler: | but I was wondering about the house that Granny Rags sends you to - in the bottom floor you can release the hou-- I mean, rats and have them kill the guards there. On one hand, you did release them, but OTOH it's not directly your doing so... Wish there was a screen that tracked the kills during the mission, not just afterwards. |

What you mean it wouldn't count? I got a ghost achievement (steam and in-game as well) for that mission. I doubt they would mislead you by giving you that achievement in the intro levels, and in most cases I don't think you'd be able to save a pair of guards from a horde of hungry rats rushing at them anyways.
And sorry, I won't be reading your spoiler right now as I haven't played beyond those levels yet

I mean they introduce the rat swarm devouring mechanic with those two guards, of course you wouldn't get kills counted for that. What I was wondering is whether later on you get 'blamed' for rats killing enemies (not the ones that you can summon, but the swarms that exist in the area by themselves). You usually have to trigger the attack (opening a door or something) somehow, so in a way you're to blame even if you don't kill them yourself.

I understand what you mean now. But I don't see why they should count as they're not dying because of your intervention I guess? Unless it's you who sort of release the rats on them I guess. |
