A tutorial problem and a display problem were the only things affected by this update, it falls to the crack then to fix that crash issue which must be due to some modification to the game data.
(Or else a whole lot of people would have reported it - including internal Q&A - since it would mean the end of the game without being able to go to that location, ha.)

There is a new buddha.dll (And I just noticed the exe is 45 MB instead of 5 as it is originally.) so they might have fixed it.

I don't know how it works but I would guess they take the data from the main protection .dll file (pazizaku.dll in this case, not Paizuri.dll unfortunately.) and add it into the exe since that file is now bypassed, and I would assume it's packed differently.

I don't know how it really works though as I mentioned but it's a guess at least. Very Happy

(Paizuri is sort-of a Japanese tit-fuck, just so you don't Google that and get weird and wonderful search results.)

EDIT:

Oh it's not too bad compared to some western terms like Pink Sock or Donkey Punch and what they mean, of course this reply kind of proves what you mentioned in your post, heh.
(Here's one from Japan that get's a bit closer though - http://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki/show?title=tamakeri )

Finished it some time ago, a really, really good game, the story was interesting with some nice turns, though I wish there were some more murder investigations.

Some puzzles were damned hard though, I haven't used a skip puzzle button though. My fiancée helped me with some of the more difficult ones, like the one where you move the coloured balls around to open the lock, that was just insane.

Overall, a very good adventure game, I'd rate it 8/10.

yeah a pretty good game, nice story overall, some parts were pretty far fetched even for sherlock holmes, the puzzles weren't that hard and were quite enjoyable actually.

I remember doing the same thing when playing older Holmes games. Always amused me, pretending it's some horror game Very Happy

I would go as far as I could while looking at him, then look away for a second, turn back, and BAM!
