omfg that screenshot fcking rocks, exactly the way in which infinity games were made - thats why locations from those games still look good nowadays, despite the resolution obviously.
hope the characters will look good and will be well animated. only drawback of that quality locations is the fact that... wasteland looks like shit now.

2d backgrounds look great and all, but i would want to see some life put into it, like the waterfall should animate nicely and smoothly and water ripples for ex happen when you step into the water, also maybe some shadows and tree swaying and torches too actually cast shadows on 3d models(npc etc)
off course we wouldn't know any of that yet as it's not a video

I think the screenshot looks amazing, far better than I thought it was going to look.

Definitely do not regret pledging to this project. So far they're on track to create the greatest game, for true rpg fans, in recent time.

But are they really serious about their 3.5 million goal. From 3.0 t0 3.5 that jump is just too much and nearly impossible with just 4-5 days left.
Guess its just an excuse to say to everyone that "hey you didn't contribute 3.5 mill so this is what you get..
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Looks better than expected. Maybe a bit too zoomed in if you're used to playing IE games with the widescreen mods.

wow 2.9 already.
I was thinking this would end at ~2.9-3.1, but if the trend increase at the end as it looks like it was done on other games we might actually see 3.5, would be sick ^^

well, they are not posting them in their officail game site which you using the paypal option.
Obsidian members are posting them on twitter or as comments on their Kickstarter page, last time it was around 60K with 1200 backers, there is 3 RPG's fan sites like Codex and 2 more that gathering money from forums members,so far additional 10K as been gathered,it will be pledged to paypal by the end of this kickstarter

These extended Kickstarter "goals" are just a way to milk more money from backers. You can't tell me that when you've already got a team together, and a project underway, some miniscule little detail, be it another city, class, tradeskill, whatever, costs an extra $500k in salaries to create. If anyone believes that...well......
Don't get me wrong, I went against my better judgment and backed for $25 myself (who knows if I'll even live to see 2014? ), but I've always found the stretch goals the game developers set out to be pretty insulting.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I also do not like this constant stretching of goals, seems a bit iffy.

They could just go ahead and say "we need tons of money to build a bigger and better game, come pledge lots", but apparently sheeple are more likely to pledge if you dangle a carrot (or whatever it is that sheep eat) in front of them, hence the stretch goals.

It's just like DLC, nothing more nothing less. They milk money out of people for stuff that should be in the game anyway. Like how Bioware gives you the illusion of choice in their games, the exact same thing applies here, people get attached to the project and feel like its their responsibility to enable it to reach the aforementioned goals. Manipulative psychology at its best.

If you don't like the kikcstart method just don't support these projects.
Vote with your wallet.
And if you're true to these feelings it's better even to not pirate and play the game. Show your immense intellectual superiority to the rabble by not playing it. After all even pirates must have their code of honour (whatever that is).
