Might be a stupid question, but where can I see how many engineers I currently have?

people remeber, this game is from the makers of Civilization... They do not make anything that works out of the box, 10 patches and a YEAR later, we may have something playable
2600k, GigaByte R9 290x, 8 gis of ram on Windows 7 X64

Heh, Heh. Your not kidding. Those Sectopods are way out there in overpowered to the extreme. That rocket barrage thing is enough to kill three guys with Titan armor.

Doesn't it write it on the bottom of the screen when you enter the workshop?

When you switch to engineering tab the number of personel is in the middle of the bottom.
The chance to hit number is just random number. I just targeted a sectoid with my sniper and got 5% cth, switch to another soldier shoot some other enemy switch back to sniper and got 51% cth on the same sectoid I targeted previously.

I only needed to encounter a sectopod once to get this one down. Get in line of sight, have my snipers disable its weapons (it goes into some kind of shutdown mode for a turn or so after that), get rid of the drones, then finish it off with concentrated firepower. If things don't go right from the get-go, I fall back to a more suitable arena.

ok i definitely should start in iron man..
now as it is on normal i pretty much load a save when i lose a guy, i dont think thats the way its mean to be played xD

I have been wondering how people are playing, regarding the saving and loading. Thing is, why isn't it limited on the amount of times you can save, if it isn't how you're meant to play?
