The Campaign - 2/10

So much wasted potential. It says something when the thing a movie is satirising is considerably funnier than the movie itself. A poor man's Primary Colors.

Yeah, I certainly didn't see the funny part. It started out being somewhat comedic - but from that whole chicken-sequence until the end, it was anything but amusing.

The Amazing Spider Man - 2/10

Abysmal, childish, unrealistic and one dimensional.

It is unrealistic with relation to the universe presented and character interaction.

Actually, I REALLY enjoyed the new Spider-Man! Andrew Garfield is definitely a far better Parker *and* Spider-Man than Toby Maguire is and the script was a whole lot better too. Yeah, I had a blast with this and it's definitely the best Spider-Man film yet. 8/10, easy.

+1 especially since the kid is a dancer and has the right physique and is a decent actor.

Loved it in the theatre. Shame what happened to it in post. Crying or Very sad hopefully they'll be more careful in the next one. Which webb is also doing. WOOOO.

Just a DVD at the moment, proper DVD-quality video and audio, but nothing HD.

prometheus - 6/10 - I'm being kind with that score. Full of plot holes, and stupid as fuck in places (ripping a birth cord out of her then running around for the next hour). What a let down!!

It's "watchable" but you'd still probably be best served waiting for a HD copy.

watched abe lincoln vampire hunter again... and im downgrading my rating...

5/10

in part it pissed me off because i can see how much wasted potential there was. a different approach while keeping the visual style that was so thrilling (especially during the, quite frankly FANTASTIC train fights, and the plantation one) could have made for a great film

also hated that they couldnt even keep track of their own lore? vampires cant hurt each other... ok but yeah lets have two vampires smack each other around at the end... and then friendly vamp suggests that him and lincoln vamp could go off vampire killing as well Scratch Head

also hated how, rather than trying to suggest that this was a 'hidden' side of lincoln (which could have been fantastically handled), they just flat out went 'fuck it' and made him into a super-human, by whacking down that tree. i think that ONE moment in the film, completely undermined the rest of the entire film.

and the final two vampire kills... man i just think they gave up. they were retarded on the first watch, and just flat out lazy and idiotic on the second.

Sad im only pissed because this could have.. should have... been so so SO much better. it had a lot of great things going for it, fucked up by some stupid decisions, lazy story writing, and, what i can only assume was some epic drug and drinking sessions.

I see I am very blissed to be able to put my brain on stand by, when watching movies like this.
I thought the story funny and could see the fun the original cartonist had with his ideas.

A bit more ridiculous the 2nd time round. 6.5/10. Some parts are just really predictable and some parts are just wtf.

I meant that you can see what is coming if you're watching it for the first time.
