Games thats fun with multiplayer with one pc and two controllers?

I can only get my wife to play Wii with me and that has gotten so boring by now it hurts - just got an extra controller - coop, splitscreen, simple games - its all worth a shot.

Anal puns are very welcome; if they also come with an (in)appropriate suggestion.

The Lego series?

Great fun, and pretty sure it works with 2 controllers.

Good suggestions so far - but we have already played some of the lego series and a Rayman game on the wii, so further suggestions would be great.

Edit: Uhhh that Trine game looks good! Thanks!
Edit 2: And so does Lara!!

Old games are also very welcome

I also like how the patch for Trine 2 is larger than the isodemo disc Laughing
Looks really fun! And while action games like that Lara game is not her, I know she has seen the tombraider movies more than once - so just maybe Wink

This topic comes up very often on this forum. =)
What you are looking for are "local co-op" or "couch co-op" games.

List of PC couch co-op sorted by rating - http://www.co-optimus.com/system.php?id=4&sort=rating&direction=ASC&playerComp=%3E%3D&playerNum=2&esrb=%&released=All&couch=on

Titles I would try out with the wife:

    Rayman Origins
    Trine
    Trine 2
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (one of my favorites)
Obscure, and the sequel which name I forget. Might be hard to find.
Magicka (might be a bit much depending on her gaming skills)
    Wyv and Keep
    Tobe's Vertical Adventure
    DeathSpank
    DeathSpank: Thongs Of Virtue
    The Baconing
    Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale
    Hamilton's Great Adventure
    FLOCK!
    Sideway: New York
    The UnderGarden
    Shatter
Worms Blast (older game, not listed on that site, but an absolute blast. Played it last night)
    Shank
    Shank 2
    Renegade Ops
    Castle Crashers
    Lego series

You will soon realize that selection of co-op games on PC is very slim compared to Wii. However there are still quite a few good titles to try.

I'd recommend Dungeon Defenders, simple but insanely addictive game. I managed to get local split screen going with keyboard/mouse for player 1 and gamepad for player 2. It's probably possible to configure it so that you can use 2 controllers for both players.

Ya cheers - I have a hard time getting that shit to work tho :/ Wanted to play good old Chaos Engine or even better Moonstone. But I fail to see how I can get 2 logitech rumble pads 2 to work at the same time?
(which is this threads purpose and not so much if its split screen or coop).

Think half my problems stem from I dont have xboxs controllers, most profiles I can find are for that. The logitech rumble pads 2 profiles I can find, are for games I dont care for, and if I try to use such a profile on another game, even the direction pad is not working (would think direction thingy would be the same).

Have you tried using the XBOX 360 Controller emulator with modern DirectX games or Xpadder (maps keyboard/mouse commands to pad) for everything else?

I use an official PS2 Dual Axis pad running through a USB converter I bought a long time ago and use the 2 mentioned programs fine with any game I've thrown at it.

I was just gonna suggest that. Before I got a Microsoft 360 wireless receiver for PC I also used wired RumblePad controllers with x360ce. Very nice and usefull app.

Especially with its new namby-pamby GUI configurator. I remember back when x360ce had to be configured manually... now that was NOT fun.

Wall of text deleted = finally works now with Blur - x360ce.vibmod.3.1.4.1 did the job. The normal x360ce had some error where one controller would influence the other driver, but only when speeding and then the other driver would turn left (what evs).

Cheers guys!
