first impressions are not good but then again game of thrones too seemed crap to me at the begining Razz; voiceacting is weak, fov is killing me but at least this time you dont have to hold rclick to look around
from what i read is much more linear than game of thrones and with very few loot, also the skills panel looks like crap from what i saw, nowehere near game of thrones, but maybe it improves later in the game, i only played for 15 minutes or so
also the graphics are much much better than game of thrones

i think jb said it too, but you get a fuck or shit every two sentences
played a little more, dont know about the story, but the 2 main chars are getting entertaining very fast trough their nonstop jokes and mockery of eachother; the skilltrees is somehow more simple than game of thrones with fewer skills but you got upgrades here, and also saw some special moves skilltree with skills performed by the duo together in battle (like the orc throwing the goblin doing massive dmg)
ill see how it develops but like it obviously since i got used to the poor voiceacting from game of thrones hehe

hmm combat seems pretty tough even if im playing on easy or im not in control of it yet, i died like 4-5 times in the first hour Laughing, the orc seems pretty dumb takes a shitload of damage and his rage points are a nuissance

Hmm for those considering buying this or even playing it, dont do it, its mediocre at best even if you liked GOT; im in the second half of the game and trully dissapointed...

The story is interesting and acceptable, enjoyable most because of the setting and circumstances, but it has no twists and no epic moments (unlike the masterpiece GOT).

The combat is far inferior to GOT, much simpler and somehow clumsy and chaotic and although you have quite a lot of skills and upgrades for those skills, much of them are kinda the same and dont make much difference in battle, you could say they're useless; stun is the greatest skill, once you master this, its pretty easy and if you dont learn it the battles will be a pain in the ass.

The voiceacting is...pathetic; nowhere near GOT (where it was pretty acceptable and you got used to ti), but here is trully laughable; even the orc/goblin voices are annoying; also there are many pauses between dialogues which is weird and combined with the shit gestures doing these dialogues, its trully terrible.

The quests are not interesting, pretty much go there kill x, but the really fucked up part is that all the maps are corridors; everything is linear, you cant go 1m from your path, its worse than in linear fps Laughing ; Also the loot is near to nonexistent, mostly there is one chest per area.

The only positive thing about this, is the graphic which looks really nice both outdoor and indoor, the textures are very detailed and the water/fire/light effects are really cool

So, like i said, maybe its worth 5$ but nothing more, dont know what the fuck devs were thinking when created this, but its definitely one of the worst games this year

not it is not Laughing i like it ... well it plays and looks the same as THE GAME THRONES it even uses the same combat system , but i like the theme of it .... the thing is it play like a RPG from 1999 but with gfx of 2010 ... and design decisions of 1987 ... meaning its a great RPG story driven game with a nice combat system that was made by a small studio and the game has some weary bad gameplay experimental derisions

I like it, gives a twist to the normal good humans-bad orcs story. It's like Yeskov's "The Last Ringbearer ", where it turns out elves, humans and dwarves assaulted Mordor to destroy it's rising pre-industrial revolution economy (to protect their interests and prolong the feudal system) and pillaged their natural resources. Then they wrote their own history, as victors do.

I am pretty sure the game looks very similar aside from possibly the texture resolution and some smaller tweaks, I posted some screens earlier, will find them again.

As one can see the shadows still have a very poor draw distance and can be easily seen fading in as the player moves around although this is not visible in static images, textures have a nice amount of detail to them but are also somewhat low resolution, post-processing is also featured heavily such as bloom and I believe the game uses SSAO but I could be wrong, don't quite remember.

EDIT: Compared against official images one can see they look pretty similar minus that I use the SMAA plugin and enforce 16x AF.

(The main shortcoming of many screenshots - unless SSAA or some other form of downsampling has been used - is the very blurry distant textures due to low or non-existent anisotropic filtering and the heavy aliasing on many of the models.)


EDIT: If this is what I think it is then the X360 version also uses sub-HD resolution.
