I applaud them. They warned EA several times of the vulnerability, through several messages on various official fansites. EA ignored them.
They could have done alot more damage than they did, instead, they were polite and sent EA a wakeup call. If I were in their shoes, I would have went for the gusto, jailtime or not. These corporate motherfuckers need a real wakeup call.
Meanwhile, Ben, EAs chief prettyboy behind BF2, criticizes users on the totalbf2.net message board for pointing out the fact that the "hackers" warned them. Real professional, you suit and tie corporate fuck.
Again, my congratulations for a job well done guy(s). If I could donate to further your cause, I'd be the first one on the list

This is a new game browser for BF2, a lot of good features that even the ingame browser doesnt have.
You have favorites, auto-join when a free slot is open and a lot more. The lattest version is 1.1.1 and you'll need to hotfix 1.1.1.1 that solve a major problem.

If you have any problems with it, just post it in their forum and they will get right on it.
Found this yesterday, i even helped them fixed a major bug and i must say that this is the best BF2 browser ever. The favorite feature is awesome to have but the best thing about it is the auto-join option...so when you want to join your friends in a game but the server is full, you check the box "auto-join" (like on STEAM) and as soon as a place is available, BF2al will make you join the server.
This is definitly the best thing to happen to BF2 in weeks.

Autoloader is a nifty little app, great find Kommando. Seems to work really well. Had a quick go and no problemo.

To all people who are thinking about buying this game:
DONT
I had a real CD key (I bought the game) and had to change it twice. Now this key doesnt work anymore. I dont know if it has something to do with the CRAPPY EA masterserver, because I can log in at any server at 1600h GMT+1 and later.
This game really has the worst multiplayer infrastructure EVER!!

guys
where is 1.01 patch because when i play game sometimes sound disapears, i saw on game spot but there is only 1.02 patch and its not working on b2, i tryed to patch using 1.02 and nothing happens it always sais "Patching please wait..." and forever.......................

heys, there are ppl selling just the cd key on ebay - and im planning to get this.
However, to install the game actually, does an image of my friends original retail work? like is it possible to burn a copy of my friends retail dvd? then i can use it for installation and use the mini image from gcw to play the game.
Basically, will this work? Or the protection doesnt allow to copy a dvd?

You can install using your friends media (or a downloaded copy) and use the mini image to run the game. The CD key is the basis for online play, not the media.

if you are using a cracked .exe or anything the patch won't work
i really agree about themultiplayer infrastructure
put any other developer behind this game and it would have been 10x better
the game is so random..it works fine on my desktop (medium settings..p4 2.4 1g 128 9800 pro)
on my laptop (1.73g Pm 1g 256 6800go) it worked fine at first..then it started to fuck up a bit (on medium and 4xaa high filtering) so i brought everything down to low .. and it randomly hangs every now and then in the game for five secs or so...fucking annoying when you're trying to be a little competitive
i appreciate the game because its so amazing..but come on, lets be a bit better with the buginess and glitchiness..
