Yeah man , some XBLA games I didn't even touched...not to mention some awesome XBLA games that are still coming , like Deadlight which I want so badly..do not forget some hidden gems like Sine Mora ! I agree tho..end of the cycle is approaching , but there are still many upcoming games that Im interested in..
Investing in RGH is still worth it imo , and I saved some money from not buying discs every now and then and bought myself a new controller , and they are not cheap here. |

Simplest solution, get a 2nd hand Elite console, likely to have an easily flashable BenQ or Liteon drive. Update with latest dashboards then flash with LT3 and you are as safe as can be on Live. Read up on xgd3 and liteon ihas drives though, you will need a new dvd burner. Slim xbox for me, are not worth the hassle and alot of the drives cannot be flashed.
OR .. you could wait for LT3 to come out for your Hitachi drive (if it is a 78/79 model) or just flash to the latest LT for your Hitachi if it is an older model (these ones dont need LT3). |

I have a samsung ms28...it's flashed with LT2.0...but it won't play dragon's dogma or GR:future soldier...but it wil play Max Payne 3...I have an iHas124-b burner with burner max and I burn with verbatims ,I am on the latest dash...I noticed an update to the sammy LT2.0 to sammy LT2.0.1...has anyone had to update to this FW and what was the result? Thanks

There seems to be a new update. Dunno what it fixes. Nothing visible, so probably some stability fixes etc.
Any word on, does it rollback lt3.0 ? Is it safe to update?

cb change is no problem, problem is the RC4 crypto, they used XOR hack to get to the cpu key now with XOR hack killed getting cpu key is not possible anymore no cpukey=no glitch.
but If they glitch the very first bootloader (1bl) this isn't an problem.. I wonder why they have not done that in the first place.. maybe they just want to took the easy road.. well now they have no choice.

I'm not too clued up on the firmware situation atm, so i have a question to those who are..
For a decent price i can get myself a 250gb Slim console, the main goal would be to RGH it and install a dual nand chip.
So i'll be wanting to flash the console aswel so i can play backup's online. Are all drive's on the Slim flashable? Or should i be looking for a console made before a certain manufacture date?

some slim drive are flashable but after a certain update the drive gets locked so then its not flashable anymore and then you have to drill in the chip to unlock it.. is going to cost you a lot of money to get it flashed.

Is it 13599 dash?
I remember hearing in the past about some trouble's with firmware, but i didn't pay much attention as i was running a jtag.
So basically, all drive's can be flashed but those after a certain update require more work?
Like the console itself, if it's on dash 15572 or newer, it cannot be glitched as the CB has changed.

i am on the newest DASH 16197 expect faster streaming data to ram nothing has changed .. well expect now the kinect FINALLY WORKS !!!! ino more lag in game i could hardly believe it heh ... if you have your cpu key and your retail and you can go back every time to any dash
for LT30 ... new dea.bin mate so SS3 gas have to be reburned and it reflashes your drive if it detects a flash that its no they own MS flash after that you have to get the AVATAR DASH UPDATE FOR 16197 and KINECT UPDATE FOR 16197
can you update yes , but the you have to reflash your drive
and yes EVEN NEWER DASH then 16197 will be out on the 26th ,
