Is there any good FREE SFV Checkers out there?
I've done a google search all i can find is shareware ones, Not really any use.

Quickpar/Smartpar handle SFV files Smile

quickpar is the best i belive, i meantioned both because i dont remember which I use..

Thanks for the help , I decided to use Quickpar since i already had it installed, But never knew it would work with .sfv too Rolling Eyes

Quickpar seems to work fine so i'll just use that, Thanks anyway.

hmm...can anyone explain to me what SFV means?
and what "SFV Checker" is??

10x in advance

My System:
CPU : AMD "Barton" 2500+.
Memory : 768MB DDR PC2100.
GFX : Nvidia 6600GT DDR3 128MB , AGPx8
M\B: Gigabyte GA-7VT600P-RZ MotherBoard
Sound: AC97 Realteck 5.1 ALC655 - Audio.

All release use as well SFV (Simple File Verification) to ensure that each rar is not corrupted. So when rars files are sent the server can verify if the packages are complete and not damaged. It is also good for the end user to see which rar is(are) messed up.

eg. Follow these simple steps to download heaven.

Download your "files"
Run the SFV
If broken, run PAR sets
Once repaired, unrar, mount and enjoy!

when using ftprush (former ultrafxp) the .sfv is checked while leeching, also it is able to tag the stuff.

for the normal checking work i use flash-sfv2.0 or the built-in checker
from totalcommander. those 2 are able to generate .sfv too.
