I've just managed to make a couple of quick matches, and it's great! just as expected. It's fast and arcade of course, but also very entertaining, and the graphics/artistic style are excellent.
The netcode is obviously still in alpha state, but the game itself is solid, perfect for some quick brainless matches.

Hmm... has anyone tried both hawken and mwonline? I've only tried mwonline and it seems to have great potential once its done.

I got in alpha a while back but got to play for like 3 or 4 days. I actually only got to play a couple of games before it was over, as I had no idea the alpha phase was ending. Seems cool though. Full on FPS and not a tactical game like the old MechWarrior games. I got in the new MechWarrior beta also, but never bothered to even install it, as I don't really think I'd care too much for it.

Also, afaik, servers will be open in a bit more than 3 hours..
