The coldest weather we have here is like -10 (and that's extreme). And I like shoveling the snow outside my house
I get all christmasy  But rain + really cold weather sucks donkeys ass.
The best season imo is late spring. As sabin said, not too hot but hot enough for short sleeves  And beautiful blue sky ^^
