Can someone give a quick mini review if you played it, even if you played for only a few hours. And is DISC 1 the Single Player confirmed? So I wont have to waste my time getting Disc 2.

So still playing revelations. I doubt it, but did it manage to keep it's charm over to the redneck states?

Ship over atlanic sea was shit boring. In boston now, will see if it picks up.
Anoying things so far:
Menus in swedish.
Whats the point of climbing when it offers no challange? Pressing down rt is all you have to do.
Clunky movement. Feels like Im moving around in syrap.
Combat is subpar. Clink noises and counterattacks, which has a huge window to pull it off within.
Explanations in menus about people and places are not funny.
Positive:
The world itself.
The "fun" facts can be interesting sometimes and makes the place more believable.

booting up this game reminded me why i skipped brotherhood/revelations... everything takes such a fucking.long.time to get going.
it's like the only way to get to all the great parts of the trailers they kept spamming online is to get through all the tedious shit they keep throwing in your face out of the way first.
at least they made cutscenes skippable... on the other hand they could have just not made it so boring to begin with.
technical details: lots of framerate drops but impressive world nonetheless... at least from what i've seen of this incredibly linear experience during the first hour or two.

if i couldn't stand story, cutscenes or dialogue, then adventure games wouldn't be my favorite genre ever.
however, everything in AC3 so far is just incredibly... boring to say the least and the pacing is just horrendous.
you literally walk a few steps only to be interrupted by a cutscene(with a freakishly annoying blinding light btw) and rinse and repeat till you reach boston which is around 1-2 hours into the game provided you don't skip anything and even then the formula only opens up a little bit provided you don't go off adventuring but dive straight into the story missions.

what? skipping the cutscenes? story/presentation is just as important as gameplay for me. A game with amazing gameplay but a shitty/nonexistant story could never be truly great for me.
And yeah AC always takes some time to get going, but the payoff was always great.
btw. brotherhood was the best one so far. I can understand skipping revelations, but brotherhood was really great...

If the game is so boring and you skipped brotherhood and revalations then I wonder why you still playing after 2 hours, if I find a game so boring I end it pretty quick but never kept playing for like 2 hours or more.
Assassins Creed cut scenes are a must for me at least.

Fantastic game , great intro missions.. Nice improvement in the engine in almost every aspect , so much detail. There is so much new to see and to do , Revelations was stale in some parts..but they did it again with this one if you ask me ! Epic gaming weekend ahead , AC3 marathon incoming..
