As far as the controls go, MGS3 is actually worse. It basically has the same overcomplicated controls but with even more features. The camera of MGS3 has been improved in a rerelease (MGS3 Subsistance), I think this collection has the reworked camera.
Seriously WTF? I've watched and read some recaps, it seems like a superbly moronic story. I am experienced with jRPGs so I know japs like their bullshit, but this one has a story which is beyond convoluted. Combined with the gameplay I saw in MGS2, I'll just skip this series.

Laziness of porting MGS4 and downright greed of the publisher not wanting to pay the extra fees for additional discs. I'm pretty sure 360 gamers wouldn't care about having 4 discs, or even more, if it meant getting the full MG-MGS4 collection ... but hey ho, capitalism and greed.
